i so wish capaldi didn't get stuck with moffat's hardon for clara for so long. he was my favorite doctor. but the insufferable clara kept being jacked off to by moffat the whole fuckin time.

There's a theory that series 7 may be in reverse, in a sense, that he's travelling with them after they've already gone. that's why he's so upset when he comes back on Christmas. but then the doctor we see in the power of 3 and the angels take manhatten is from before that.

Fun fact about the 9th Doctor’s jacket. In the episode where they meet Captain Jack Harkness, he says, “I mean flag girl was bad enough, but U-Boat captain?” While it can be seen as a joke, it’s actually a reference to the origins of the 9th Doctor’s leather jacket. As it turns out, it is an authentic U-Boat captains jacket, made in 1938, and was actually worn by a U-Boat captain.

Oh poor 11th doctor, my least favorite of the ones I saw (9 through 12 and 14). All those finales were such a mess (and I hate lake silencio's interpretation of fixed points, much prefer the one from water of mars). 12th had its up and down (the monks was torture to sit through, death in heaven was amazing setup for a disappointing "uh?" ending), but daaaamn Heaven sent and that colony ship finale <3
