I see, this can happen. I fitted front ball joints from Ridex, and they didn't last 8 months. The rubber was nearly completely missing. So if I buy anything, I try my best to spend a little more and go for Meyle. What brand were the rear stabiliser links from ?

Hi, no unfortunately I couldn't, the mounting tabs were miles off, I got this fan shrout in the hope it would work, as she never had one, so I initially just had it sat in, to see if it would work. I will have to make some mounting brackets for it at some point. But she holds temps nicely, so I am in no panic 🙂.

@Tomoff1Gaming that is a volvo bottle from the P2 5 cylinder turbo models ranging from 2000-2009 I believe. Had it on one of my spare engines as this car came a m3 one that was bulky and wouldnt bleed properly. Works great and tucks away nicely into the engine bay.

Hi @MisterSmokii , I have a silencer delete and decat 3" downpipe on standard 16T turbo with front mount intercooler with 2.5" piping with cone filter and remap.

She is a 2003. I do love this car most reliable thing I ever owned, pushing over 300hp for the last 7 years with no issue on the original clutch with over 210k miles on it. It never missed a beat. Next mod will be the rest of the exhaust k24 turbo and green injectors with a stage 3 clutch. That should see around 350hp should be enough for a daily. You should do the Stage 0 with new PCV service, plugs etc before modding as you will blow cam seals ask me how I know 🙈

So I added a 3" decat down pipe with a resonators delete, front mount intercooler, and got it mapped in Kingscourt here in Ireland. Running the 16T standard turbo with a HKS mushroom style filter.

@@The_Pit cool but its very hard to the push the 16t past 280 hp with any kind of supporting mod its to small..a 19t should see you closer to the 300hp mark

It was dynoed at 310 before the intercooler upgrade and with the OEM air box and filter. Unless the dyno is out of kilt which i doubt as it dynoed the car exactly at 250 HP before the tune which is standard power for the 2.3T5. 300 is easily achievable on a map alone

@@The_Pit I'm just going on my own experience as I have had my v70 t5 remote mapped from a specialist in the UK shemtek..and taking info from numerous volvo groups and forums a healthy 2.3 me7 makes around 260 -280 on just a remmap..the 2.4 dual vvt t5 makes over the 300hp on a remmap for sure..my t5 also made the 250hp before any modifications but that's the thing all dynos are different and can be unreliable and also all engines are different..

@@somethingmorespecific6790 Weird ive had the opposite info on dyno readings with 2.3 t5 🤔i've seem reports of 290hp all the way up to 330hp on it. Alot of people dont go above 300hp though with geartronic since its pretty weak.

Those are amazing power numbers, and they sound like very affordable upgrades too. I might consider some of those in the future. Thank you for sharing. What turbo are you using ?

@MARIUSZ BLAZEJOWSKI that's great🙏 I have a standard TD0416T so I think I am nearly maxed out, but kkk24 and green injectors will be the next upgrade this year. I will hopefully do a video on that and a tune day so stay tuned

Yes it sounds unbelievable, I done a 3" decat down pipe and a silencer delete with a front mount Intercooler and a tune. The T5 exhaust manifold also adds to the worble sound much nicer over the R manifold.
