Like the title says we're now about to offer an all par 3 option on the golf course, the par 3 tee's will be cut and ready to go by the time you view this! 15% Chance of thunderstorms they said, well we got 100% of it and it took down alot of trees and limbs and I've never seen the sky turn green like that before! In the end we got the course back to normal and golf resumed. This week we are fertilizing the greens, tee's, fairways and roughs, so pretty much the whole course. We have Memorial Day weekend coming up and we'd like to have the course in top condition for it. The course is usually jam packed on this particular weekend and this year won't be any different. Unfortunately one of the workers didn't make it but we have a couple workers coming back soon to replenish the loss. Also the past weekends golf tournament turned out great, the course is in excellent condition for this time of year and it's only going to get better!!

Initially I thought the Par 3 option was a great idea but during a round yesterday was quite frustrated when a couple of groups playing Par 3 cut into playing our round. Management will need a plan for how regular rounds & par three rounds co-exist together.
I agree, we thought about this and will come up with an idea so we're not interrupting any golfers playing their normal round of golf. Maybe designate a certain time for the par3's and be mindful when scheduling tee times for it, the kinks will be worked out! Appreciate the input.

It’s a love hate when bringing on new people. You never know their work ethic & if they’ll last. the first couple of weeks it’s hard getting them on a productive schedule for a full 8 hour work shift. But the help is always appreciated
Lately we have struggled to find anybody that actually want to work, but yea you take the time to train new people just for them to quit a week later and then all that time was wasted. We definitely needed more than just the 5 man crew so the help is appreciated.
