Very late to the party, but can my opponent activate solemn judgment or strike in response to the summon? Or is it the same as with bottomless trap hole, missing timing?

Another good counter-spell card you can use is Spell Shattering Arrow, like MST except only for spells, and you inflict 500 points of damage for each of them

I'm sorry for asking this but I run solidarity in my machine deck and when I play people tell me it doesn't work because my machines are machine\effect not machine is this true?? Also my machine deck consists of ancient gears cyber dragons and a couple machine/union

xyzs too. I see solidarity as a card to help decks with power problems. or perhaps in decks like Dino's getting 7_8 star stats on 4 stars

What if I have magical dimension already set, and I summon a spellcaster, so my opponent actuvates torrential tribute, and I chain with Magical Dimension? Since Magical dimension resolves first and lets say I tribute the monster I summoned (the one he activated Torrential Tribute in response), and I do destroy one of his monsters, Does torrential trubute resolves, or does it lose timing since the las thing that happened was a monster being destroyed?

Solidarity is a very nice card in the right deck. I run Agents (all light fairies), and having the 800 ATK boost can make for very competitive attack scores. You don't run this card unless you have a single type deck, but if you do, it is worth considering. All of a sudden your level 4 monsters are over 2000 ATK, and your high level monsters also become extremely hard to defeat in battle. In my experience people don't tend to waste their MST on it - it usually sits there for a good few turns and often enables you to win battles you couldn't otherwise have won. Pros whine about pretty much every card in the game for one reason for another - maybe it's not the best spell card ever but the fact remains that Solidarity is a very handsome ATK boost for archetype decks, and almost always pays off.

This card is pretty good now considering that much of the Meta for late 2014 now has new Archtypes that love to run continuos Spells and Traps. From Water Decks that love to run Tornado Wall or Sunken city. To Qilphorts that love to run Vanity and Skill Drain! Hell, this card can Kill Fire Kings if it wanted! Though they'll need to make a Spell Eater Version of this monster.

They can attack directly they can't be attacked so you won't have to worry about damage to your lp they have great effects they can be special summoned but their bad?

another question. if i activate cyber jars effect while i have rodenut on the field being protected by heart of clear water does rodenut get nut counters from the opponents special summoned monsters?

You don't need outside sources since it doesn't ask for something to happen, but instead for you to do something.

also do you need certains cards to banish other cards in order to summon certain monsters? like with red eyes darkness metal dragon, it says you need to to banish a dragon type monster, do i need a card to banish it like interdimensional matter transporter or can banish the dragon type monsters with no cards?

No... because it doesn't lose atk normally. It just deals half battle damage.

i have another question, does crystal beast amethyst cat gain attack if you activate reverse trap?
