Have always loved Percy’s wonderful music. I saw him when he was featured at Louisiana’s Washington Parish Fair years ago. This cover brings back wonderful memories of my teenage years when it was recorded by Chuck Willis on Atlantic Records in 1958; a huge hit, including “C.C. Rider” that was released in 1957.
