I went on this cruise last week. The food at Garden Cafe did not look this good. If you read this spend the extra money and book earlier in the season don't book late season, missed ports and terrible food.

Hi. We are leaving in 3 days. My mom has mobility issues but I booked the Mendenhall glacier explorer trip through NCL. Does the bus meet you right at the dock? We have rented a scooter but I am unsure where our excursions meet and which of them offer scooter accessible transportation.

I was on Encore July 2024 to Alaska. It was my first NCL cruise of 20+ cruises I’ve done but by the second day I had to comment that the food was the poorest quality of any ship I’ve been on. As the week went by, things got no better (either in the dining rooms or specialty restaurants) and in chatting with other passengers, I found everyone had pretty much the same impression as me. One lady summed it up well…..she said it’s what she would expect in a nursing home. I used the word institutional to describe the food, but you get the point. Sailing again soon on NCL and hope for a better experience. They could hardly do worse. Oh, there were a few decent items in the Garden Buffet that were OK. I’m not a food snob by any means, but something was not right with the onboard cooks that cruise. I noted this in my cruise review provided to NCL.

I packed too much!

I did a 7 day Alaska, on the Bliss, mid-June, last month, and will be doing a 21 day Panama Canal, on the Encore, this October.

In August we go to Greenland and Iceland 😊

Nowadays NCL won’t let you get in line until your 30 minute arrival time window. Arriving later means you’ll be able to go directly to your cabin, then go explore and do muster station visit. I always get there about 3pm. Hungry? The Observation Lounge always has nice snacks available to help until dinner time and no crowds either.

I got to see that today it was so pretty❤

I used the skinny mailed tag, plus the printed tag that fits inside of a plastic holder. I got back from Alaska, 15 days ago.

We took the bus and it was the best. Many stops to get out and take photos. The driver even stopped when we saw a bear along the road and allowed us to take photos. The train just goes up and turns around and comes back. We're going back to Alaska in a month and I've signed up for the bus again even though the train was included in our group cruise. If you're a photographer, take the bus.

We just did that excursion late April this year.

This beach was the most relaxing beach on the island of Kauai 25 Years ago I lived in Kauai for 5 years not so many tourist , no traffic jam Life was much peaceful .

Was there a few weeks ago on Norwegian , took the bus up and the train back. That way, you get different views. The bus stopped for photo ops and our driver was a local who was able to keep us entertained with stories of growing up and living in Skagway.

I'm not sure why no lotion in the cabin is a surprise. Lotion has never been provided on any of our cruises. They provide liquid soap and a combination shampoo conditioner.

We would never recommend NCL We went to Cozumel.thats a $3000.00 cruise for 2.this don't include any tips or gruity...we will try Royale Caribbean or go back to Carnival
