This magnificent Japanese white pine, Pinus parviflora came from a Belgium private collection. It’s in very good condition. It only need to be shaped again. It’s honor that I can do that.

Why do you say not to prune after June? Is that so it will flower in winter?

Great vid! Ive been looking for good azalea repotting videos. Question, doesnt azalea die when roots are pruned hard? Thank you!
Most fine root will drop off when you remove the soil. With some corrections, there is enough roots left. With reducing foliage, it’s no problem.

I just purchased a drawf albarta spurce, I am going to create a formal upright bonsai. I would like to know for how long do I need to keep the wire on tree to maintain his shape?
Normally one growing season. If not put new wire after removing it. The next wire could be less thick.

Never feed a sick or weak tree. It can make problems worse.
@@edmundblackaddercoc8522 i own an azalea bonsai for 3 years now and it looks weak now. I have never used fertilizer and rarely pruned it. Should i feed it now?
@@KrypeaxFX No, take it from its pot and check the roots. What soil is it planted in? Take a smell of the roots do they smell 'off'? or earthy?what colour are the roots brown or white? When you water is the water penetrating through the rootball? Or just sitting on top and taking a long time to go through the pot. Where is the plant? Inside or outside?

@@vivianamarak1801 Once heavily after flowering,remove all flowers including the base of the flower, then don't trim again or you will be cutting off next years flowers. Then just trim any branches that are growing too long.
