Soul tearing tragedy
Lovely❤❤
Such a warm and sensitive performance of this piece! Just love it! Too bad the image is out-of-focus the whole time... Very light and crisp Fugue! The listener can sing along to do the pedal notes! Thank you for posting! (from Canada)

What a beautiful performance!
Hello, AnastasiaPianist, I am a student from China, and I want to study piano sonatas of Weinberg. My major is music theory. I read your doctoral thesis some time ago, although my English ability is not so good. I would like to ask you a question: Can Weinberg's piano sonata be analyzed clearly with traditional harmony and form? Recently, I read Piano Sonata No. 6 and tried to analyze it, but I felt that there was no standard answer. I would like to ask what methods you used in the analysis when writing your doctoral thesis at that time. Is it traditional harmonic analysis and musical form analysis? Or a new method of analysis? Thank you
Hello there! Thank you for reading my thesis and watching the video. I used classical form analyses method combined with 20th century technique advancements. As to the harmonic analyses, I combined traditional thinking with modes. It is always also important to connect the work to predecessors, you can draw parallels with other composers and their music to understand it within the historic prospective. Have fun with the 6th sonata!
A fiery and incredible performance! MOST enjoyed on one of my favorite fugue transcriptions! Regards, Nigel
Lions just go by how the notes are drawn & after many hundreds of play throughs, it becomes intuitive. The 5 against 3 section in Kosenko Op 8 No 7 is fun for the whole family.
Rasim Safe
Beautiful!!! I tried to learn this gem, but keeping track of multiple voices and working out the fingering was too difficult for me. And there was a lot of temptation to overuse the pedal as well, so I put it aside for now. You played it just right! I can hear every note in every voice clearly expressed. That powerful, thunderous ending gave me chills! 😱 Great artistry! Thank you for sharing this!
Very nice playing.
Shows what a great man trapped in ancient times can do to project greatness 100s of years into the future!!
Me gustaría con Clavecin.
Very nice, - the voice are too much separated ? Everything is under control, so now you must put brain, heart and technic together as said Horowitz;.
Aha! Now I know why this piece is so rarely played... 6/5 = 1.2, so you have to count in 0.2 increments.
Soberbia interpretación. Gracias mil.🌷
I'm very happy to see you again through the TH-cam!!!
Souds very beautuful !!!
I saw my painting !!! hhhhh..... Miss you very much, professor Anastasia!
Nice painting :)
Thx. Every note is a pulse of life
This is one of the most incredible performances I have ever heard. A completely different and amazing experience on the piano. Thank you so much Anastasia! Crisp
Bach Perfection!
It's amazing 😍😍🤩
I always loved your playing!
Дякуємо,що вболіваєш за Україну та українців!!! Таке неймовірно зворушливе та проникливе виконання!
Touching to tears.... Glory to Ukraine
💔 beautiful Anastasia
Deeply committed; not only the composition and its execution, but the accompanying video as well.
Beautiful - very moving x
Very nice. I needed to hear something exactly like this tonight.
Well played! This, and the 1st movement of the 2nd sonata, are my favorite sonata movements by Chopin. Both are so full of emotions. Sorry about the poor visual quality though.
The voices are so clear... great performance!
Prelude sounds sometimes like piece from XX century. Bach was really great innovator and was far beyond his epoque
Congratulations
Thank you Anastasia, Thank you Bach, Thank you Liszt!!! Totally unique, totally timeless, totally exciting!
Настенька - молодец!
Beautiful! Nice to hear you play. 'sbeen too long.
Wonderful! Nastya , how did you make this split pictures? Could you explain in email?
Dear professor Anastasia, you played pretty excellent! I have heard over and over again. I really enjoy your music. Every quick note is clear and average, and every chord is deep and far. The melody is fluent and lyrical. I wish I can play as beautiful as you one day in the future. Thank you for bringing us wonderful music.
I found out the best version I’ve ever heard💞💞
Великолепно!!!!!
Hi! Where I can find the score of this sonata?
Hi! This might be hard at the moment, as it was published only once in the USSR. You may find it thought the WorldCat of libraries though. Good luck!
@@b2ethoven Thank you! I've read your biography, congratulations 👏👏 Greetings from Italy!
