Hi, very useful, thank you so much 😉👍🏻
Hey Daniel, Good afternoon. How are you? Hope all is well. Thanks for sharing. My VIP software will only scan VST's from the library folder. As a result, FL studio and Pro Tools plug ins are not scanning. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
what a poes
GOD IT TOOK YOU FOREVER TO GET TO THE POINT
This is really big crap with Omnisphere is pain in ass...
Cool, i tried this method with Arturia Analog Lab 3 but every patch is "default"
I had a hard time with this also, turns out it is a common problem for people who did custom installs. For everyone having issues with the whole kontakt thing look around in C/program files. You just have to find the right .dll files AND verify they are the 64 or 32 bit version.......for kontakt right click and hit properties far right tab and the end of one of the file names will either say 64 or 32 accordingly. also lol you can go into the Native Insturments service center, from the home page go to the right tab and on each insturment it will tell you where you have the .dll file installed.......remember for this VIP you only need the Kontakt 5 player .dll. Then inside VIP go to preferences and VIP manager BETWEEN THE ORANGE SQUARE AND THE WORK "KONTAKT" THERE IS A WHITE LITTLE BUTTON, click that and the drop down will appear which gives you the option to download the VIP mapping. All this took me forever to find on the internet figured i would share.
Didn't have kontact on mines when I got the 2.1 version
thanks
Thanks for this, Daniel. A million and one blessings to you my good man!
you answered a question that aki advance service was not able to answer, they even took control of my pc but have no idea of this. thank you so much.
+4acordeon More than a pleasure to help! I really believe in the product, and it is the controller that I have been dreaming of for years on so many levels. The software is indeed finicky and needs some work for sure.
Autotag seems to be working for me,.. It is quirky software...
+Robert England That's interesting, because after updating to 2.0 I was having issues creating expansions... sometimes it worked, other times it didn't. Haven't tried autotag yet, but will give it a go this weekend.
+Daniel LeGrand Thanks for the video Daniel. I love it when people show you what not to do. That just helps the learning process so much. This cleared up a good amount of questions for me.
Sometimes it doesn't work still... I still get Unknown sometimes, not sure what I'm doing that's different... Why is that 'Default' patch so magical?
+Robert England Don't know if this will help, but I've deleted that instrument with the name "Default Kontakt Preset", and then re imported that patch and named it "empty". That's always my starting point when adding new expansions, in case I forget to remove that default instrument.
