Easy Furniture Flips // My Furniture Flipping Strategy
What's up guys! In this video I talk about the strategy I use to make easy furniture flips! After watching this video you're going to be lean, mean, furniture flipping machines.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Use this strategy to ALWAYS have easy furniture flips:
1. KNOW YOUR MARKET-
Study other flippers, if everybody is selling a similar style or color, across many cities and places, tthen chances are you’ll also have success in your area too.
My experience has shown for myself and most furniture flippers in the US this is the furniture that you should look for:
Dressers, Bookcases, Vanities that are:
-made before 1980 (antique and vintage)
-characterized by thin legs, curvy front, boxy exterior, solid hardwood, and handcarved components
Sofas that are:
-characterized by modern mid century Inspired (thin legs, boxy), velvet,
Ikea, clean, or in a bright or white color
Chairs that are:
Swivel rockers, velvet, or in a bright or white color
2. DETERMINE QUALITY with this (Y/N) checklist:
Wood Furniture:
Does it have a brand name?
Is it solid wood?
Do the drawers have dovetail joints?
Do the drawers slide well?
Is the hardware intact?
Are there no holes/dings/scratches?
Upholstered Furniture:
Does it have a brand name?
Are there no Stains?
Are there no Rips?
Is there no odor?
Are there no Cat Scratches?
3. INCREASE THE VALUE
Wood Furniture:
Paint, patch holes, good pictures, and free delivery
Upholstered Furniture:
Clean, remove unpopular swivel rocker skirts (maybe add fringe trim), paint the swivel, take good pictures, free delivery
Maybe add fringe trim is wood is showing
Factors to Consider when determining listing price:
-cost of living in your area
-the typical price for a piece of furniture like yours (comparative value)
-Your personal finance goals
-how much time, money, and energy you spent on the furniture piece

Can't listen with the background music.
I like this
Another option if your friend have a garage you can offer them money to let you keep the furniture in their garage or pay them a certain percentage of your profits.
GREAT INFO BUT....Irritating music! Too loud in the background!
great video I appreciate how u show how to do it on a budget
Hope everything is ok! Would love to see more vids.
Need a update on this please
The music (if you can call it that) is horrible. The repetition makes your video hard to watch until the end.
hope you know you can just use AI now rather than a staging wall, thanks for the vid btw
Ate you still flipping ? You don't post no more in 2 years.
Content is helpful. Thank you!!! The music...atrocious! The same 9 notes on constant repeat detracts from the information and makes you click off before you're done watching.
Check estate sales for tools. I just bought a. Dewalt palm sander in its case for $12 on half price day.
Douche sounding.
this was super genius and super helpful thank you!
Picturing friends/family faces as i explain i need them to "act as my driver" for free furniture i find in the trash or set out by the road. But seriously, youre gonna be paid. Well, im gonna cut you in for a small percentage of the profit when i sell the furniture. 🤨 Then 🤦🏼♂️ and alot of 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
can you please fix that leaning plant.
Thank you
Great advice! Thank you!
I wish you would make some more videos. All of your others were really informative and helpful!
This was a very good step by step video. Thanks! My issues were discussed: roomy transportation, storage space, work area.
What websites do you recommend to start my website? GoDaddy, Word Press or Shoppify? I spend a lot of time renewing my CL post. Thanks!!!
What happened? Why no new videos?
I would recommend skipping the hand sanding only part and go ahead and buy a cheap orbital sander to get into it. it will definitely be worth it even in the beginning and you'll be a lot more efficient and can buy a really nice sander after making some cash
Transportation- Got a hitch and I rent a U-Haul trailer $20
Bro do you have insta?
How many hours are you spending per week between finding, picking up, any work put in to fix up furniture, and list? Like how does this relate to a 40 hour work week?
Genius
What happened to Logan? Will you make more videos?
He probably died
Thanks to this vid, I ended up getting a 10 x 20, they’re chill with what I do, nice grey brick wall for staging but no power. I saw your inverter with the car but I can I charge it through an outlet at home? Love the vids!
What do you usually work on? Have you ever had any complaints using chemicals like paints/coats or making noise by grinding/sawing?
Thank you, Logan. You’re gonna make it.
What about now in 2024 do you think it’s still a good business?
How can I get in contact with you? I live in Austin and want to get rid of my sofa maybe you can flip it
I always see people in Long Island throwing good furniture away if only i had a pickup truck.
One thing TH-camrs rarely mention is that just because something is marketed as disposable doesn’t mean you can’t wash it and reuse it. Foam brushes, foam rollers and roller trays can be used dozens of times, if you have access to water.
Dang...I don't have access to any water.
Might just clean off in the local river
Additionally If you wash the foam rollers rollthem gently against the bottom of a smooth sink until clean, they rip easily if you twist them or accidentally gouge woth your nails.
Very true i tend to be more aware of the musc than him
Don’t use background music, it’s really distracting
or at least lower the volume
Fr there no reason for the music
Or you boys can learn to focus. Sorry everything can't be to your liking. 🤷♂️
I find the music helps me focus on what he's saying. But I'm audhd.😅
I second that
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks
Super helpful man ! Keep it up !
This video just made me really excited to start. Unemployed right now,but I’m taking the leap of faith!!!
How did you go ?
same here, give us an update if you can ! hope it's going over well
I am doing this also. Unemployed from the corporate world and want to start something different, work from home, be there more for wife and kids. Any chance we could stay in direct touch? Maybe via email? I could use the motivation!
did it work?
Hope everything is going well for you! ❤️
Moral of the story. Stop voting for people who refuse to lock up criminals.
hows it going today?
Nice flip! I love this - I'm shooting a restoration video right now. A Mid-century bar cabinet. Stay tuned 🙂
So happy I found your channel. 🎉
i have no space, a smaller storage unit, but where do you get electricity for sanding or paint sprayer use there?
Very helpful. Thank you
This was so helpful!
Who doesn’t have internet and is watching this video lol
I personally Thank it would be a mistake to put my furniture in other people's hands If it fell out of their truck and hit a car that's a lawsuit Furthermore you don't know how the furniture is handled and delivered
Yes that's true. But there are people like me that don't have a truck to haul big furniture (such as a couch) around. And also myself and many others have nobody to help us to carry the furniture into houses & apartments. It really takes 2 people to do this. If people in my position want to flip furniture, then we will have to take that risk of the delivery people we hire making mistakes. I have to take all that in to consideration if I choose to do this business. And I also have to factor in paying for storage to keep the furniture, since I live in an apartment.
Where do you mainly find your furniture
