Was there no deer flies? When I played, I couldn't even take a practice swing without being very painfully bitten by a deerfly. I had at least 20 big, painful welts on my body by the end of the round

Subjective and dependent on the level (not brand) of ball. Most manufacturers make many different levels, from cheap to extensive, junk to best. I have a 7 handicap, I’m older so swing speed isn’t as high anymore. I worked at a golf shop up until 2 yrs ago…so I’ve played about everything except anything recently released. In my experience, considering options, the Srixon QStar Tours performs close to Pro V1’s or Srixon Z Stars. Which are the most played on tour so certainly the best. However, anyone reading this isn’t that good….. The QStar Tours are softer (swing speed), distance and spin is very good in comparison and at $10 less per dozen, it’s a no brainer for me. It is hard to beat the Kirklands considering price….especially if your’re a handicapper…. Last hint, simple psychology, as all golfers are somewhat psycho….. you’ll play better playing the ball YOU have the most confidence in…. Do your test….. play what you like.

All BS The physics of a ball in motion that is ever so slightly “heavier” on one side will cause the “heavier” side to “center” itself along the axis of rotation and fly or roll along that axis That is why the illegal balls that are made this way to hit straighter drives etc are not allowed in tournament play. Independent test have shown that even putting a ball that has been balanced and placing the “heavier” side off center did not affect the roll to any measurable degree Stop wasting your time balancing golf balls…

I have been balancing my prov-1 golf balls now going on ten yrss..... I play it with the dot up so they spin in a balanced position in the air or if rolling on the greens.... I do very well

Once you hit the ball with a few drives does it chance the center point dynamic of the ball? Have you tested after hitting the ball a few times?

Been to Daytona Beach a couple dozen times and have played a large majority of the courses there several times, including both 18's at the LPGA complex. Was wondering how many gators you saw on that course there? Think my fav courses are probably Cypress Head and the Turnbull courses. But the Daytona Beach city owned courses are also good along with the Riviera GC. The one course that was a huge disappointment was the Tomoka Oaks course. Talk about a real goat track dump.

I have had mine for over one year and it just stopped working properly. It comes up to speed but then gets out of balance.

I'd like to see comparison using older, but unused, wound balls, popular DT90 and DT100, AWA more premium.

Your images of the cut Srixon are so fuzzy they're useless. Also "As with the Q-Star Tour, rating the guts of the Srixon Z-Star poses a little bit of a challenge. The mantle is often indistinguishable from Srixon’s super-thin covers. That makes problems with cover thickness more difficult to spot and also makes centeredness and concentricity issues a bit easier to identify. It also makes some people think we don’t know what we’re talking about when we say it’s a three-piece ball."

Great video, have you taken the good balls vs the bad golf balls out on the course to see what type of score you would get, or another test you can have a really good player play with the bad balls and you play with the good ones to see what type of score both of you would get. If yea what was the results? Thanks

The ball spinner is awesome. I marked all my golf balls. Great to line up a drive or iron shot. You will be blown away when putting and you watch that balance line run true.
