"Mourn" was released on the "Frozen" album (1998), and Tenkula dedicated this beautiful composition for both his deceased grandfathers. Now we played it in his own memory. That whole weekend (September 14th, 2024) was quite rainy, but while visiting his grave, we were able to play and film something. Here it is for you to see. August 19th, 2023 we visited and paid respects to the grave of Miika Tenkula. He was the guitarist and songwriter in a band called Sentenced, that had a huge impact on heavy metal scene all over the world. And on me, too. I think video is from two different takes, audio just one. If you listen closely you can even hear birds around us joining this song, they are not added later. Audio track has been EQ:ed a bit and compressed mildly.

Yeah, this is his grave on a church ground. I am not sure about his beliefs, though.
Well he was born in Muhos and his grave is located in Muhos Saari that is a graveyard located in a beautiful island, supposedly his family was once christian but i cannot say anything for sure
Thank you both for your kind responses! It's very beautiful to see him being loved and honored. My question about his beliefs was only a relatability thing, as I am a Christian and my soul felt at peace seeing his place of repose. I love everyone the same. Thank you again!
