Great video. I was there in storm Kathleen. Took 4 attempts to cast off from the monastery ruins and had to moore in the boat yard at Ludham as all the spots were gone. Back next year to explore the south. Top work guys👍💯

Wow , that was one long slog lol , i thought with the water being high that you would'nt get back to yarmouth , we've hired melody boats about 3 times , we love them , but we've never taken them across breydon , we went down to yarmuff in san remo once , but had to come back because of engine problems .we always enjoy sedan boats . Thanks for sharing .

I have a bounty 34 on the Shannon, they are a great go anywhere boat. I concur about the starboard cabin, too narrow for two adults, with triangular infill piece one can use the forward as a large double. I have the bedroom sinks removed to give more storage space. There is no need for them on a small boat. The separate shower mixer has been removed and the sink has been adapted to take a bath/shower mixer with the shower head on a standard sliding bar.

We have one over here in Ireland, absolutely fantastic boat on the River Shannon.

Not a bad boat, she's been around a long time, I think the way to describe this boat is functional, but with the hire price of boats these days they are quite reasonable, but I think only twelve volts so you can't use your hair appliances but OK for a week,

we hired spring horizon when it belonged to horizon craft , we hired 3 from there , i really miss that company , we usually find that the sedan boats are better for us ,as you can see out of the back better, but no good for bridges lol , & we've had melody twice , & san remo once , the ones i hate are the two tier drive boats , & the coffin bedroom as i call it under the driver section lol , thanks for sharing .

Nice boat. We always had the Spring Horizon as it was just right for the two of us. Looks to have been updated since we were last on it 18 years ago. I expect that the other Spring Horizon has had the same treatment.

I have just picked up your video on Antigua 2. Thank you. A very informative and genuine review. Warts and all and good to see that Richardson's were as usual really spot on with any problems. Edited to say , thank you for letting us know that it might prove difficult to get on and off of this vessel if you have limited mobility. We are in our mid 70s and getting more crotchety as the years go by. I would need a crane to get me on and off. Horses for courses though and probably just ideal for another family.

We had a great time on antigua we didn’t expect Monaco

we felt disheartened this year with san julian , the front bedroom was'nt very long & i had to sleep sideways with my feet on the other bed lol , & the back bedroom window leaked when it rained too , ive never been a fan of that bedroom , i called it a coffin bedroom as the ceiling was so low , as you stood above it to drive outside , with it being a dual driving boat , & the sides of the boat was really high , & we had a real struggle getting on & off , especially at potter , we never usually use boat showers , we use the ones at the harbours or marinas , but we could'nt use barnes showers because of covid , so they say , so we used potters showers instead , & sometimes use richos .

great video , can't believe you went all the way to gelderston & back to richos in just 4 days , you must have been shattered , that's a very long trek , we don't even contemplate it unless we've got a full week lol .
