In the 80's I was in a Heavy Metal band, and hanging out backstage with Megadeth. I smoked some hash, and went into the bathroom backstage. Well, I'm sitting on the toilet and the light burned out, and it was absolutely pitch black in there, and being in darkness and being as high as an SR-71 Blackbird I couldn't find the damn door to get out! Anyway, Dave kicked the door open and rescued my stoned ass outta there! I was kind of laughing about my predicament, but he was genuinely concerned that I was okay; I sat down and just drank beer with them and talked until they played, and they rocked! But Dave was a very nice guy... Anyway, keep up the great work guys - I love the diversity of music you guys are checking out!

I can hear Kiss and early Blondie in this as well - I think though her name, Amyl (pronounced 'am-ull'), might be a reference to the chemical Amyl Nitrate; Poppers - which is a liquid that you sniff and it sends blood rushing to all your 'parts' when you're having sex. It's popular with gay men, and Animal Nitrate was the name of a song by Suede.

Part of that wall of sound is how they treat the guitar. One guitar pick-up goes to left side, other guitar pick-up goes to the right side, both pick-ups are also run to both sides. Basically, you have the equivalent of 3 guitars in the mix.

Great commentary. They do use backing tracks and are not shy to say so, but the main vocals and instrumentation are all live. They have released the full Pepsi Center CDMX concert in a single video, chaptered so you can select single songs, and English translations are embedded, so you don't have to rely on the auto translator which sometimes misses or mistranslates. I recommend using that.

The disadvantage of being only a three piece is more than made up for by each member being freakishly multi talented.

The song is based on grimms tale about the stick out of the bag - about the urge to pay some people back - and they sound like ramstein on purpose on this one. Its not how they mostly sound.
