there's a lot that I could say about how disappointed I am. But to bottom line it, I'll just say, Id feel a helluva lot worse, if I really thought that LA would win the WS...Im sorry, I just dont think they'll win it. The thing that SERIOUSLY annoys me is knowing, thru the entire regular season, we pretty much kept the clamps on Ohtani...we had a true-blue plan, when we faced them. And yet we lost the 5th game against a kid that did not pitch well against us, the ENTIRE season. I wish 3 things.. 1) that Luis Arraez had not 'broken' his thumb. When he went back to struggling the closer we got to clinching, I felt an unease in my stomach that felt like doom. His importance at the top cannot be overstated. People say, 'well, just put Tatis up there". NOPE...he's way too much a free swinger, and does not have the discipline that is needed to hit leadoff. Profar?..not a bad choice, but there again, he doesnt have 4-5 straight games, where he gets 3 or 4 knocks. Arraez struggling to hit, killed us...its that simple 2) when Higgy walked out to check on Joe, because he knew something was off?...there again, I felt that impending doom. A healthy Musgrove & Arraez, and we're in the CS. There is no doubt in my mind 3) and last but not lease, I wish Dave Roberts the worst luck a guy can get. And nothing would make nme happier than to see him, at some point, during the CS or WS, make his usual error in judgement, so huge and ridiculous, that even Stevie Wonder can SEE that Dave Roberts is not managing the Dodgers. His coaches are more proactive and competent than he is. My wish is that he gets fired. His post game comment about "thats a good team over there...and Mike and his staff did a wonderful job with that club, blah, blah, blah"?..made mu stomach turn, in light of the sick shenanigans he played with Manny. If his cat gets run over by the mailman, Im ok with that and Id wish the tire on the vehicle, a speedy recovery.
