Find your dogs working/ perception level on the E-collar

Watch for the subtle body language cues that your dog is feeling the E-collar
They can be as minimal as:
An ear flick/turn of one ear
Panting stops for a second or two
A Turn of the head
Staring at the ground or body part
We do not want a BIG response from the dog. The smallest response possible is telling us they are feeling it but not bothered by the sensation.

The place command is one of the hardest commands when there are high distractions. Other dogs, people coming over, the scary vacuum can all be challenging things to your dog. Using the tie back method can help solidify to your dog that it should not get off the bed. When the place command with no leash starts to become weak, put a leash back on your dog.
