Rich Love the content. I left Honda and traded in my 22 DCT Goldwing. I found zero support from the local dealer. Traded for a K bike These motorcycles are very expensive but the ability to get information is frustrating . Manufacturers will go out of their way to not back up their warranty You have no warranty I went to a different brand

Our super hero Rich! Credible tech is on point. It’s paramount. No shade-tree mechanics. Gold Wings are for accessorizing as are most large Touring motorcycles. FYI. Pathfinder distribution block has a “stop use” in effect. Refer to Cruiseman’s recent video. Best you & Lorna.

Glad to see you on the M109r. I actually subscribed because of your 109 videos, because I intended to purchase one as a firt bike. I was a little turned off when you transitioned to the Goldwing (I kinda didn't like it)... Fast forward... I happened to be on line looking at older bikes and was wowed over a bike that I had never seen before. I did some research and it turned out to be a "70's" Goldwing. I am now a proud owner of a 1975 Honda Goldwing. 😂😂😂

I get home at 5am lol. Side burner exhaust. I try to be quiet. 😂. Lucky I am liked by my neighbors.

Hey, Rich. I came from my 2013 Hayabusa to my Gold Wing. I was that guy, but I changed my style due to age. The M109 was my first option, but I decided to go for touring. Another good video.

23 DCT tour wing rider here. I’m seriously considering making a switch to harley. The reason is not about equipment provided standard or performance. it is about (1) ability to customise and make it unique and more importantly (2) fit me. Only 1 option to raise/move handlebars which costs arm and a leg. no option to move foot pegs either. Almost zero aftermarket parts here in UK. While you may need to spend quite a bit of money to do all that customisation on a Harley, you pay that money Honda up front - for their preferences, not riders. (Goldwing is around £32K and 24 model touring Harley £27K in UK ) While saying “Honda gives you everything you need” one should mention that price difference and the ease of customising the bike yourself as well.

Yes, I agree. I'm looking at a 2024 M109R. No ABS, no traction control, no quick shifter, and no cruise control. All of which Suzuki has on many of their other motorcycles. It is really annoying how Suzuki refuses to update many of the iconic motorcycles they make - DR650, Vstrom 650, and M109R. All they do is change the paint!

Wondering why Honda didn't unleash the power and usability makes me hesitant, were they having mechanical reliability issues and they dialed it back? I don't know and only they know. I guess we'll find out on the future when everyone is putting the milage.

This is great. My story is the same. I was 10 years off of riding so I didn't notice the clutch was bad I did fix it myself and now it's a beast. Mine also has air intakes and a 2into 1 muffler. I bought a power commander to help with the changes.

Need a Nav update that can be transmitted via firmware update :) !!!

I agree that color is the only likely change. I would like to see an improvement to the navigation system map options.

I think they will update navigation. They have to. The body will likely stay the same but the lights might get a refresh. The press release should be next month. Dealerships should have new bikes by November 2024. What pisses me off is that 2023 baggers are still being sold for $22,400 which is crazy.

Good afternoon Rich just found your channel. I am a M109 owner 2009 and there is a very hard second gear love the bike. Cornering is not all that great but this is my 12th motorcycle coming off of a Hayabusa. It would be nice if they would address that but I also have a 2016 Ford Mustang That has a evap coil issue and a lot of them do my workaround is sealing it. They wanted 1800 to fix 1000 miles after the warranty which requires taking out the dash definitely should’ve been a recall..

Tyre profile matters too, as an old tyre, especially if you do a lot of highway miles, gets squared off in the centre. Sometime, the new tyre, with the correct profile will just feel so much more nimble too.

Its an inline 6 not a flat 6.

I just bought a 2024 goldwing. I am in my mid 60's and still have a buch of sport bikes. This thing is pretty fast and is only limited in the cornering clearance and top speed limiter. My son was behind me on my zh2 supercharged bike and coming out of a round about I was able to twist the throttle all the way open and he had a little trouble catching me because the bike couldnt put the power down as fast as the goldwing could. He was very surprised how fast it could go through that corner. I also raced agsinst his built twin cam Harley limited that puts down 120hp to the wheel and he couldn't keep up.

You are absolutely right about the new generation Gold Wing being the best looking Sport Touring bike out there. To the BT Flash. I think it’s a winner. This Flash tune is a conservative/safe upgrade. I know know Tom and he’s a smart guy. He realizes the benefits out-weigh the risks. Keep us posted. You looking great out there. Hi Rich, that was me and my bike in Cruiseman's video. We got the ECU Flash upgrade installed yesterday. The process took three Saturdays. This is only because I work full time and could only get to Cruiseman's on a Saturday. What we did over 3 Saturdays could have been done over 3-4 days if started early in the week. I am happy with the upgrade. It gives the bike more power and really smooths out Sport mode which I have found to be to jerky in the past. I think you will like it. I have been in Gainesville before. A long time ago in a different millennium I went to UF.

I do not like the Wing'swind screen. And the side cases suck. Odd interior shaped

It's definitely worth it. I have 700 miles since installing the tune and it really wakes the bike up. The install is not at all hard and most people screw up where you have to cycle the bike on and off a few times and you have to hold it in the off position for 3+ seconds at one point. BT-Moto mentions it in their video but it's easy to miss. Sport mode is much more useable and fun. Definitely get the fuel pump done first. I have a 2021 Manual.

I just bought a pair of Sharkroad out of California & they sound AMAZING!!! Installed them about a month ago & VERY HAPPY. These pipes make the 2018 to 2024 sound come alive but not to loud. These awesome pipes for less than $500. Check them out!!!! Now my 2021 Honda Goldwing sounds like a cross between a Porsche & a Lambo lol.......
