Emilie Autumn Rose Red Live
มุมมอง 27K17 ปีที่แล้ว
One of Emilie Autumn's live performances of Rose Red, all on electric violin.
WTF THAT WAS AMAZING
Her fans criticize her a lot and everything she does. It seems that they are never satisfied. They want her to return to her origins of the Enchant era. If I had to choose, I would stay with her Opheliac era. It's her most "evolved" version. And it's true that she has been stuck in the Asylum. But it's her decision. She has a lot of potential to explore, but it seems she has got there.
I want this EA again. She looks so fucking happy!!
if I could time travel, I would go back and see this :D
Wish she would go back to making more "Enchant Era" type music. It's such a positive outcome to an abusive past - Escaping into Faerie tales.
I'm glad that I'm not the only one who feels that way!
I bet 100% of male and 75% female of that event's spectators simply fell in love with that young, happy, innocent and pretty foxy girl :-) And hell, she can play! Or at least she could back then in 2001..
She used to, at least =(
She is Amazing :D
This video is a hidden gem on youtube. Do you also have the full versions of these performances? Or maybe know a source for them?
she enjoys the violin so much, wonderful...
I'm sorry but I don't like the person Emilie is becoming. And I've only been a fan for 1 1/2 years. I wish she was still the person here and in the early Opheliac era.
She really is like a faerie
SI SI OJALA ALGÚN DÍA EMILIE... GRABE UN UNPLUGGED.....SERIA GENIAL =)
And the folk song was based on the alternate story of snow white and rose red. Yes there are lyrics it's one of my favorite songs
amoo su violin!!! precioso
She looks so happy here, cheering her guitarist on, you can see her mouth "YES!"...This is the EA that I ran to in times of need, I hope we get to see her again.
Ah, Emilie, I'm so glad I discovered you... <3
I miss the faerie.
Can't you just enjoy the wonderful music without bickering like idiots? This is amazing!
is there anywhere to find some more of this material? they look like pretty much her best live performances in some ways but can't find almost anything in youtube
I' pay dearlt for a studio version of this exact composition of the tow of them playing! What a great performance!
@arottentomato how is that possible when she really performed Rose Red on violin few times? you may found some here ,osted on youtube.
@Toshiya231 ugly!!!! we are not looking at the same woman
@ellodahhhling Punk?:L
Oh god, I do miss the faerie
i love that i get to have a favorite musician whom i can describe as psychotic harpsichord player, a glittery inmate, and a faerie punk rocker.
What a happy faerie!
she looks lovely in black
Her mic broke, yes, but she makes that violin sing. I can hear the lyrics in it, although that's possibly due to the fact that I listen to Rose Red an obscene number of times daily.
This sort of thing makes me wish I knew her in this era
@siropheliac Yes it is indeed! I really enjoyed this video, but also got a little sad of it.. Knowing it won't be like this ever again... I've really missed something in my earlier years ^^
@TheBlondeJesus She played an instrumental Rose Red live a couple times, but I don't think this is the special post-9/11 show (though it's from the same time period). You can see a clip of Rose Red from that night in my other video, and if you search TH-cam enough you'll probably find a clip of her playing Star Spangled Banner live on her violin as well. :)
@arottentomato Is this when she played after 9/11 because I heard that she performed with that big group of bands that all played and according to the interwebs she played an instrumental version of star spangled banner and rose red at the concert.
@zanewoody At times it's fun just to play a instrumental version of a song. It shows that you can, if I can say, adapt as a musician.
rose red on electric violin totally rocks!
LOVE IT!
Emilie Autumn and Charlie Daniels should have a violen duel...of course she'd win.
amazing! omg! just sooooooooooooooo beautiful! makes me wanna cry! not... makes me wanna dance!! *-*
Shreddolin!
Wow, I love Enchant Era Emilie!
@BattleCry105 She was about 24 in 2001 (depending on which birth year you go by), so not a teenager.
you can so tell she's having so much fun up there! I hope to whoever is up there that her gigs can return to something like this, not that i dont love her stage show now, but having what she has now mixed with something like this would be so utterly amazing. i would kill to have seen her play like this! ROCK ON EM!
Her neck is so beautiful!!!!!!!!!
This was before she was in the asylum, pretty sure she's still a teenager here, the gothic/victorian stuff didn't start until she came out
1:46 OMG! i had never seen this before!!!just beautiful...
It's really weird to see 'normal people' as her audience... go to a concert now and it seems you've entered to a weird medieval/victorian/elizabethan parallel universe It's awesome!!!!
I've always wondered why does she plays with the chin off her violin...still is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This version absolutely changed my life....
I've been looking EVERYWHERE for an Enchant era live video! Thanks!! This is awesome! =]
Rose Red DID have lyrics when she performed this (in fact, it's based on a traditional folk song called Rose Red, which has the same tune and similar lyrics). According to fLee, EA's mic broke at a performance so she used her violin in place of her voice.
