Love this plane, Eflite really hit the nail on the head with this model. Very STOLE, can do basic aerobatics, and even good for training. Enjoy these calm shots of it doing what it does best. New Katpis Logo From Andrew Merkel!

How do you describe an engine as retarded ?
Is that a full size plane? He should consider racing in the red bull series 🏆
Is this Trout lake?!
That's awesome! Nice flying!!
Thank you Thomas 😊
ah yes, my favorite, big gay pink plane. lol not gonna lie i kinda want one
What oil do you use? Thanks
Very nice. Thats over near Parry Sound isn't it? Love the low and slow passes...

Good video. Could be better with out the crappy music. The sound of the old sleds would be nice.
It was suppose to be a joke video not to be taken seriously lol

That pilot must be friggin diZzy
Did u fly any planes or just the drone ?
Rex4x4 the red high wing plane(maule), the orange and black plane(extra), and the red and black (extra) are all mine lol
@@katpis9121 Tommy the cameraman ??
Rex4x4 haha actually I think a couple of those shots were him.
I love my 3.3 no problems the engine is 6 years old
The break in has a lot to do with it Heat cycle after heat cycle
This is the only RC that I think looks better than the E-Revo VXL 2.0. really nice kit. How's it holding up?
I hope u fixed the camber and toe after skyjacking that thang. If not ill bet it drove like ass burgers.
Gorgeous video, unbelievable..... what am I doing in the GTA.... looking forward to moving back home.
I never had great luck with the 2.5, 2.5R or 3.3. I've had a few of each and I always end up replacing them with something else. The 3.3 I spent the most time trying to get to work, but no matter what I did, low power (less than I wanted), high temps (260-290) and tune that jumped all over. The only time my 3.3 held a stable tune and ran consistent around 250F was when I put an $80 OS 18TM carb on it. Then it held a tune all day long, but was still lack luster for power. The 21TM is a nice bump in overall power. For the first full gallon to 2 gallons, it liked to run on the warm side. 250-265F, for me, that's warm. I'm guessing I have 2.5 gallons or so through mine now and it runs perfect all day long at 220F. I had to upgrade my revo gears to RRP as I kept shearing pins off as they would rip through the plastic gears. I replaced gears 4 or 5 times and spent the $100 on RRP steel. Haven't had the trans open in over 1.5 gallons. I just ran the 21TM yesterday, first time this year. Check out my vids to see how it sounds past break-in.

amazing video boys. an epic chronicle of the journey all sledders once took, solidifying their addiction to riding. love the edit as well.
where is it?
@5:30 anyone saying trx 3.3's are crap is either new to nitro, doesn't know how to tune an engine correctly or are plain talking shit, in this case I think the latter is true. I have been into nitro RC for 25 years, worked at a model shop doing repairs and dealt with more nitro engines than most and the trx 3.3's are as good as any other .20 sized engine, machined tolerances are close, they wear well and hold their tune good.
backyardbasher I disagree at least in my experiences dealing with countless trx 3.3s. Yes correct with quality for price. Traxxas did well for the price point of the engine, its reliable at it's price point. But you can not compare the trx to an O.S the OS out performs the trx hands down in power, reliability, and holding its tune. In this video my friend said trx is sh*t in comparison to the OS.
There is no such thing as "reliable at a price point", something is either reliable or it isn't. Trx engines are reliable, it's generally the people that use them which are the problem. Among my collection of nitro cars which is considerable I have a Traxxas Sport Maxx which I bought in 2005, it's a rear wheel drive only T-Maxx with a 2.5 and spends all its time wheelying everywhere and I have lost count the amount of gallons that engine has had through it over the years and apart from glow plugs, clutches & carb adjustments it's needed nothing. When I worked at the model shop we had many, many T-maxx's in which customers had running problems with and most were because of tuning issues or they had the wrong grade glow plug in. With the wrong plug in a nitro engine you will struggle to get anything near to a decent tune. Then you get what I call the Twiddlers which have some technical experience but not much with nitro engines and quickly put down any engine because they can't get them to run right. Lastly Traxxas is the most popular RC car manufacturer in the world which they wouldn't be if the reliability of of trx engines were an issue.
I have owned 25+ nitro engines from nova rossi , rb, picco to axial, xtm/sh and rarely has an engine been problematic from factory. Normal issues like air leaks will sometime happen but I seal up all my engines and take them right apart to wash and inspect before running. Traxxas 2.5 and 3.3 are very good engines for the cost . My current 3.3 T-Maxx is uber reliable it holds a tune and runs 230-250 all day long. Great lil mills.
Cool video. Would've been better without that music.
I thought you didn't need a glow plug igniter with ez start?
robert silva we disconnected it as it was causing problems for us
katpis oh okay nice truck do you still have it I'm looking to buy one! It's ether the traxxas tmax or hpi Bullet 3.0
don t listening mister urc
slash is the best
i still have one in the box haha
These waterfall and snow shots are just beautiful with the Drone. .... Expecially when you live in the city and you're lucky if you see just one tree in a weeks time. why did you stop filming?
Sooooo beautiful
I wasn't sitting down when I watched this video, but I wish I was. Because when I saw the raw HP of that Citation 250, it blew me back on my Ace.
BAJA??
1:21 is the camera ok!
what gears you running
what music is playing in this video?
Any need for that pathetic music
That last drop, dude.
What tires are those
that temp at the end looked like 271..... wont fry it, but its really not good for the engine. I would recommend taking off the manifold, back plate, and carb, and use some hi-temp liquid gasket on those parts to seal them up good, and then use some associated green slime on the carb needle threads, this will prevent any air leaks and make it run smoother and much cooler. All my engines are setup like this, before they used to idle like the one in the video with that kinda "gargling" sound, now they are much smoother.
This is amazing man
TRX 2.5 0.69HP TRX 3.3 0.97HP O.S .21TM 1.8HP!
1.8 @ 25k rpm
damn i want that traxxas
That White summit is sweet
I bought one and the only thing it does better then the TRX3.3 is hold a tune. So when I wore the os out I put the carb on a new 3.3 and its twice the motor then the os tm. Way more power, holds a tune and revs for ever. Not to mention half the price.
Mucha acrobacia para hacer comparación de imágenes de dos buenas cámaras.
Love his choice of background tunes. Just rocks man!!!!
A way to prevent tire ballooning is to dismount the tires from the rim, turn them inside out and line the tire with duct tape. Turn the tire right side out and remount to the rim, ( No Ballooning) even with 3s. Do not tape inside of sidewalls, just tread area. One continuous strip of tape per tire. The tape acts like a band around the tire preventing the rubber from stretching under high rpm.
:-)
