Gideon summoned him. The summoning brought Bill forward, but he couldn't stay in the world. Butterflies, pugs... is anyone not being trafficked in Gravity Falls?!! After you finish the series, you should definitely get Journal #3, Gravity Falls Lost Legends, and The Book of Bill. The Book of Bill delves more into Bill and Ford's relationship. Stanford wasn't being tortured the whole time, he was lost. I think the barrier keeps Bill out whether he's possessing someone or not.

Tad Strange needs his own spin-off series! STAT! Love those phones! That meme is gold. I mean, he already had the Eye of Sauron in an earlier episode... Poor Soos! :( You got Tyler's name right! <3 I like how Gideon remarked the twins have gotten more evil since they saw them last, since regardless of the intention, the mind control thing crosses several lines. Love how this gave Tyler a little arc. Nothing ominous in THAT ending. Gideon's charisma got him the cushy life in prison. One of the shorts shows how he's adapted to prison life and that he's made friends with the convicts-- particularly Ghost Eyes.
