    Excellent information! I am so struggling because I am a 59 yr old woman who had her last period at 39? POI? No one can tell me. At the time, I got hrt, but only for a very short time. I've only stumbled upon your info 4-5 years ago and now I am on 75mg estrogen patch, 100 mg progesterone oral and now testosterone within the last 6 months. I am angry for my loss but also elated for women in the future! So much science around this that is unknown. Thank you for your contributions to the change everyone. The only symptom I can't seem to shake are the night sweats. Should I increase my testosterone or increase my estrogen?

    This is a great start. Too bad this has been ignored for 20+ years. I would like to know why such dangerous man made hormones like levonogestrel or MPA are still given since they hinder the often low progesterone that menopausal women have. ALSO Despite being available only as injections and being given fearmongering in NHI literature; the HORMONE NANDROLONE is an effective progestin and muscle and bone growing hormone with low risk at therapeutic doses of 10 to 20 mg a week for women. The NHI published paper on NANDROLONE using rodents was using human equivelent doses of 350 to 1150 mg a week of nandrolone. No one would give even a body building muscle man that much. IMHO this paper was fearmongering to steer women away from considering nandrolone because of uterine tissue growth running amok. At those huge doses it is no surprize. 20 mg a week is a reasonable therapeutic dose

    Wow this is so thorough. Thank you for your good work! We need more longitudinal data and trials that can finally stop the madness and allow women to get essential hormone therapy.

    Thank you for continuing to give us all transparency on the current findings. I had to really fight for my full HRT triad and it required the very qualities diminished by menopause. Practitioners seem to forget that when a woman asks if HRT is right for her they can be easily turned down without a struggle. It’s terribly sad how many millions are suffering with this out of false fear. Your work is making a difference for a noisier and more persistent generation 🤍

    Making women wait an entire 12 months from their last period for any help with this is a travesty. We need a way to know each woman’s hormone levels and provide supplemental care over a woman’s life based on concrete results.

    Thank you for this transparent information Louise! 🤍 Transdermal technologies are still a work in progress-while I found it more effective than oral and appreciated the lower risks I was unable to use it because it would not remain on my skin, “dumped” the dose in a couple of days, gave me a terrible rash, restricted my ability to do a full range of sporting activities, was large and had printing on it (so no privacy from any intimate exposure to a partner) and meant I could not use a spa or take a really hot shower. I found it impractical and once the rashes developed it was deemed not appropriate for me. Of the path was smaller, more durable and discreet, if it stayed in place and allowed people to conduct life normally (I like hot showers!), I would prefer transdermal. Someday I hope they fix this!

      How would a woman know she needs Testosterone? The MD mentioned only Estrogen and Progesterone for replacement and Estrogen metabolizes into Estrogen. I am clueless.

    • @r8chlletters
      @r8chlletters 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s easy to get testosterone but you have to use the correct language. You must absolutely state you are suffering from “sexual dysfunction” (ie you cannot achieve an orgasm). If you don’t say that explicitly you won’t get it but all that is required is your anecdotal attestation and a blood test (T has a huge range for women by the way). You’ll need up needing to give total T blood draw test every year to ensure “safe levels”. Even though it’s imperative for lowering anxiety, giving you your confidence back and even building muscle more effectively. It’s insane we don’t have comprehensive HRT that includes “t”.

      @@naturallylockednlovely654 if you are menopausal you have a lot less testosterone…and it affects your anxiety level, confidence and muscle building.

    Thank you for what you are doing. I actually think a lawsuit should be launched against the people in govt who deliberately misguided and misinformed about the women's health initiative study. A generation of women have been harmed worldwide. Where do they go to get their health back? It's time everyone is accountable for their actions.

    Very helpful interesting! Sad that although so many women suffer from breast cancer and somehow very little steps are made. All what I hear is breast cancer is 90% related to hormones. Glad that someone steps out of the box.
