Back the day, traveled the world installing NMRI medical imaging systems. My chapman set always went with me for 5 years and some $35M worth of imaging systems installed. That was a long time ago but still have that set and a newer set both still work very well.

you guy's are the best in the business. If I didn't hate velcro I would order one of these kits. If you ever redesign the roll to use snaps instead of velcro I'll be the 1st to order one. btw do you guys ever plan on offering a larger flat blade size than bit #19 ? for stock mounting bolts on shotguns and stuff like that bit #19 isn't always bug enough.

One of my favorite American tool manufacturers, definitely top 5. I'm a tool junkie so I love a lot of tools just because i think they're cool, but the Chapman set I put together was a game changer for me and while I think Chapman drivers are cool I really just love them on a practical level. I enjoy using my Chapman drivers but also don't know how I lived without them. I just ordered this awesome tool board because I keep outgrowing my Chapman cases, I'm on my 4th case right now and hopefully this tool board rack should be the final storage solution I need.

I just ordered this tool board and am excited to receive it. I use my Chapman set for working on guns,airguns, and vintage fishing reels and always prefer using the best fitting bit I can for every screw. This means I use a many different bits per project and don't like constantly swapping them around so I have 7 different driver handles. With all the driver handles I have and all extensions and bits...etc I keep outgrowing my Chapman cases. I started with the little 16pc pocket set to try out and everything just spiraled from there, I added more bits and the basic case, then came a stubby handle so I needed the next case up, now I have the largest case and have outgrown it. I don't think I need anymore handles ( unless you guys start to offer that aluminum one ) and have most of the bits I need, so this tool board should be the final storage solution for my Chapman kit.

I got my dad the light blue set. I have a yellow. I NEED THAT LIGHT BLUE.

Can you guys add more death to the ratchet with a switch…… the tool would be perfect then.

Second generation Chapman user... I've bought sets for my adult kids so that makes us a third generation Chapman family... Made great Christmas gifts for co-workers who were always asking to borrow my set... Even bought sets for friends too! Best quality mini wratchet set EVER made!!! This set has gotten me out of more mechanical tight places than any other tool I own! Buy a set, You won't regret it!

30 years of industrial maintenance these babies are more than handy. Chapman tools hold up, work as advertised, and replacements arrive quickly. They are the best!

Isn't it funny when you see something you think that's so obviously the best way to make something. Have many pb swiss and some irazola with ground tips without a doubt superior.

Trying to remove a Japanese screw with a regular Philips #2 it seemed the driver wanted to slip out and would damage the screw head. I definitely need to get a JIS driver.

Yeah, it's pretty hard to take a Submarine under the South Pole. Because the continent of Antarctica sits there. BUT, the North Pole has no such obstacles.

I like looks of the wood handles, but not this design: should have corners like a Grace or old-school Irwin so you can grip down as well as not have it roll off your bench. Natural oil finish would be better than a clearcoat too.

is there a set with more diverse but selection? like jis, Philips, torx, Roberson, all in the same kit? I mean, handy people are already drowning in hex bits, so it would be nice to have added variety in a kit, or at least have separate bit only packs.

You are too far from the microphone. I couldn't hear, so I stopped and just clicked on the link above. This is interesting as I already use a Champman set for restoring my typewriters. I can vouch for them. Excellent product. There are some cases where for tight spaces I need a dedicated screwdriver as the bit holder gets in the way, but I have used my Chapman set extensively. Wish they had this set made especially for typewriters when I started about three years ago. I will have to compare this to what I have. Might be the 8900. Would have to go down to the basement shop to verify...

I'm interested in the case since I have a large variety of bits that require carrying several smaller cases just to have the right bits at hand. I will keep looking since this is a niche just waiting to be filled. Currently a small toolbox is required to haul driver bits, drill bits and assorted grinding wheels, wire wheels and every other bit you can use.

so how are the bits held inplace on the ratchet? wire spring detent? ball detent? magnets? are they even secured or can they flop around and fall out?

Just got a Master kit this past weekend and ended up using it for hours on all kinds of machine projects I did not think the tools would be needed for. Great USA-made quality at a fair price. Having seen these kits before through the years I knew the tools would be good but what was a big surprise to me was the ease of use of the master case. I can see and easily get metric and standard bits out and something as simple as case layout makes a big difference in time and frustration. I regret not buying a set when I first saw it 30 years ago!
