Sorry about the stream issues, stay safe. On the plus side though, you are about to get best boy Koromaru. Koromaru is even better in the remake than he was in the original. See back then the only dark skills to exist in P3/fes/portable was the Mudo family of skills. They were intsa-kill but pretty low accuracy, they also did not affect bosses or mini-bosses. However in the remake they added the Eiha family of skills, which are normal damage dealing elemental attacks, that were introduced in Persona 5. Which gave Koromaru way more utility.

Tidbit on the "Pretty lady" (the third exclamation point interaction in the beach fling scene): her scene was changed a lot from the original. Originally the twist was that she was a crossdresser (Akihiko spots an unshaven piece on her chin). While the conspiracy theorist twist is funny, I still think the og was funnier. Tho I do understand why they'd change it, it would not go over to well today.

First time watching, just some minutes in and let me tell ya, you're very entertaining, perceptive and charming! Hope the channel blows up! :D

I'm not sure if I'm just insensitive, but I never saw the reveal that Mitsuru's grampa created Tartarus as anything besides an interesting backstory. In the end, knowing that that is were Tartarsauce and the big shadows came from, doesn't affect much in practice. It is an interesting piece of trivia, but has no real use in what sees does. It does not add info to the "how big is it"/"how to get rid of it" questions. What would have changed if you find out in July or in April? Either way, knowing that does not change anything. I dunno, I've always been told I lack emotional intelligence, maybe that's a symptom...

The P3FES intro is kinda mid and also spoils a lot of the game. FES was intended as an add-on to the original, but was released as a combined package in the US--it still expects you to have played the original kinda? Even though most didn't I feel.

Yeah persona fans thinks every blue haired character looks like p3 protag smh, what are you talking about identical??! He doesn't even look like just because of the blue hair stop being one note, he have a longer hair, and the protagonist is supposed to be androgynous which he have features of both gender that what they said.

Most of Atlus's fantasy titles were either co-developed or made by Vanillaware and published by Atlus and even their fantasy series Etrian Odyssey has some heavy scifi elements. Atlus hasn't really made a "pure" fantasy game since the last bible series for the gameboy and super famicom so we're all hyped to see what they bring to the table with Metaphor Also there's a lot of memes about the Metaphor protag looking exactly like a love child between P3 protag and Aigis lol

Im so excited for Metaphor its unreal. I have my 35th anniversary edition on steam preordered :)

Atlus has quite a few games under it's belt that would be called "Classic Fantasy" some of which include Etrian Odyssey, Radiant Historia and quite recently Unicorn Overlord. but most of these games are not like Triple A Persona game but on a smaller sscale. also speaking of fire emblem, they have a cross over game with nintendo called Tokyo Mirage Sessions FE, which as most FE games is Classic Fantasy
