it was a straight 40hp shot (no controller) and it was very noticeable lol .
Nice . I am not to sure how far to go . 75 shot or bhp is a lot . & 100 wow . U pay a lot of money to get that sort of power. I.e turbocharged or supercharger. I love nitrous. Do u no trev

Is it ok to run an engine without any air filters?
I have been for a few months now on my mk1 fiesta. Driven daily not had any issues. I personally would run a mesh thought just to prevent anything getting in that would destroy the engine. I also have a mk2 fiesta I'm doing a zetec swap on which will be running twin 45 dcoe's which will be without filters aswell.
you have to run the engine with the filters off to balance the carbs, its not recommended to drive with the filters off.... but many do it!

would need forged pistons ideally to run nitrous on this engine, its had a lot of tuning done to it already and is approaching the safe limit of the cast pistons... but yeahh maybe if i knew then what i know now, i would of gone straight to nitrous and saved myself a lot of hassle lol
LOL. It's true that you'd be faster with less work. On the up side, once it does finally get the lovely nectar, the increased airflow will result in more power per gram of nitrous.
That's really not bad considering the size of the engine! Is this wet or dry?

did it increase your 0 to 60mph much
the std 0-60 is quoted by ford as being around 9.0 seconds I reckon it'll do it in around 7.5 seconds now
