@@cornwallfamilylife I might be the only one but I would wish flambards open up for 1 day so we can see the theme park one more time because its sad to see it all go and would bring back so many lovely memories

@@beaversquad2332 I think it’s the thought of when nothing is there everyone looses that little bit of hope they have left that someone would save them

We visited the soft play so it seemed like a good opportunity however a member of Flambards did approach me to make sure I wasn't planning on jumping the Fence. I just said I was thinking of the good days.

@@cornwallfamilylife wish they’d just open the Victorian village and Britain in the blitz, one last time. I know there’s a petition for it, but whether it will happen 🤷‍♀️

If it happens it will be a big success with lots of people saying goodbye for the last time and buying all the merch 😀

We visited on Sunday it was good fun 😊 but still sad about the main theme park

It was such a shame in the end it wasn't as good as before but we thought it might have one more season in it 😕. A real shame for Cornwall 🥹

It was a good little theme park especially for Cornwall but lack of continued investment Over the years meant that it became a shadow of it's former self in the end.

@LordClunk sorry to hear that mate there are plenty of videos on it. One of the best made was by theme park worldwide. We actually bumped into them as they were filming and they were a major part of why we started vlogging

When did closed down of Flambards attractions because going to be replacing Theme Park before reopens again soon in Helston

@williamtacey7770 it announced it's closure last week there are no current plans to reopen it

@@georgekoshti_richman1392 anything is possible but it is more likely that they sell the land to the highest bidder which will be real estate. The Victorian village is the thing that really needs to be saved now at all costs and remain in Cornwall

@cornwallfamilylife we did, I remember going round the blitz experience many times and all the small shop windows they used to have in there with different things inside. I actually remember the Hornet opening and the big fanfare they made when it launched. They used to have an old powered dragon rollercoaster there before the hornet. I believe it's layout was a bit like the flying fish at Thorpe Park.

@EverydayTrains wow 😯 I would have loved to have a ride on the hornet at the very beginning. We are so fortunate to live nearby and have spent many happy hours in our local theme park and recorded so many days out for memories. Our blitz and Victorian village videos may very well be the last ones made...

Camel creek is still being run by the administrations but it a brilliant park which is getting better all the time. The place is well loved and maintained however does not have rides on the scale of Flambards and nothing in comparison with the Victorian village.

Me too. It did have trampolines and a hand powered mini chair swing ride 🤣

If I was a very rich man I would love to take it over but I bet it's very hard to run such a large place at a profit 😞

@@EllieFish1 honestly it heartbreaking for all of us. We need to support the remaining attractions in 2025. Springfields Fun Park , camel creek, lappa valley, paradise park and others

Yes we do. We are planning to visit all of these places and more Cornish attractions in 2025 making more content and hopefully encouraging others to visit them as well. I have felt emotional for weeks, especially regarding Flambards

@JordiPZ it was actually the other way around they rang me at 11am when I was at work. I was really worried that something happened to the family and then they explained about Flambards. My son goes on the Flambards website more than they do.

@@cornwallfamilylife No problem. I took my kids to both places and my grand kids to Dairyland. Too much has closed over ecent years. Personally, I was very sad to see the closure of the Go Kart PArk at Holywell Bay. I will be looking at more of your videos as soon as I get time my friend :)

@cornwallfamilylife I don't think anyone did, but the signs were there, like removal of thrill rides, under investment. Just like so many closed parks before it. Parks need to stick by their thrill rides really.

Flambards at time definitely had a bit of magic to it. I remember thinking how privileged I was living so close to a theme park with a rollercoaster and more.
