The stars have aligned - we broke out the tasting box this evening! Paused at dram #3, to be continued. Very tasty so far.

I believe (can't find source) that a lot of barrels are shipped as individual staves and recoopered on arrival, so adding additional staves to make a hogshead from a barrel isn't a huge cost.

Based on my observations, I have reservations about placing trust in Andrew Derbidge.

LOL ! I didn’t choose the glasses . I always drink whiskeys any kinds NEAT , STRAIGHT UP , never ON THE ROCK or MIXED WITH SODA . Single Malt , Cognac , Japanese whiskeys or Bourbon . So I need a very nice crystal shot ONLY . And my own Crystal shots

I really don’t want to hate. Whisky, Coffee, whine and other dark drinks stain the teeth a lot, even to an extent where even excessive brushing won’t make the teeth whiter. And it helps massively to use teeth whitening strips👍 (Don’t get me wrong, I had stained and brown teeth as well, where even brushing didn’t work. Whitening strips have helped tremendously)

Very intrigued how a 149 could at all be a Juicy Oak and Vanilla. Would have thought it falls into the Oily and Coastal be default.

A 93 as a malt of the month? You spoil our palates but ruin our bank accounts.

I've had both 8yr old and 2yr old Armagnac. The 2/3yr was fantastic, very very light, but wonderfully elegant and fruity.

Peaches is a bloody good dram, keen to try this.

Hi, you mention that RR64 may have older stock in it, is not this Release a Single cask botlle?, maybe I missed that details in your web page or outrun magazine but just wondering if this is diferent to SMWS style of Single cask bottling. Thanks for this videos as give a lot of info about the whisky.

Nice review. I can distinguish for instance Laphroaig (médicinal) from Talisker 10 (bacon ) The first is peated and the second smoky ?

Magnificent. Just magnificent. Loved the longer bars. More chocolate to taste, savour and experiment with the whisky. That last one was our pick for the night.
