Brillant❤
Love this explanation, thank you. I have naturally curly hair, when I was younger had trouble finding a stylist. I happy to find your videos a stylist who knows how to handle natural ➿ curls, is a blessing 😊🎉
Love that we've all been inspired to embrace our beautiful curls! Its about time! ❤ I remember when I was in high school I spent all day diffusing my hair into a gorgeous curly style. I could wait for my boyfriend to see it. When he finally saw me he looked disappointed he told me he didn't like big girls he liked them to look "wet and flatter." (This was the 90s) Then he specifically referenced Julia Louis-Dreyfus from Seinfeld and said I don't like her girls don't wear your hair like that. JERK! That was 25 years ago. He called me recently because he just got a divorce and I reminded him with an asshole he was. 😊
When in the heck do you rinse? Never? Help!
Wavy hair here and my scalp gets very oily so that’s false
hi where are you located and how can I reach you?
and your hair looks great as well :)
Love how assertive you are, and your client is sooo fun. Great job!
Womderfull Feets very pretty feet, Beautiful... Very Nice..❣️❤️🥰🌹🌹💐😘
🤗
As soon as my hair gets wet it’s so frizzy and I can’t do anything to fix it. I have these products, but I don’t think I’m doing it right HELP
a diffuser is what she needed after the product was applied to damp hair and then scrunched
This hair dresser does a great job at selling her product, that's for sure. It all sounded good but after thinking about it and then looking into hair dynamics ,it really makes no sense what she's doing with wet hair. Hair will not hold onto moisture but when a person is so happy to get a good cut and a wash that feels so good that you will fall for the hype. Her hair really looked GREAT too. I do think there are many products out there that are also very good without the cost of this. This stuff is pricey. Find someone that can give you a really good cut. That in it's se OK f goes along way.
I bet our tap water, with the fluoride and chemicals, is really bad for our hair.
The minerals are bad for hair. It's called "hard water". I'm sure you heard of it. There is a fancy new shower head filter on the market for just this problem.
"Bubbles are build up leaving hair!" Dude... what... have you never seen soap before?
My hair keeps spidering and it’s wet frizz and then it translates into dry frizz. Ugh.
OMG what great video, gal looks fabulous!! Thanku so much can't wait to try this method.Stylist look amazing in her curls, girls u look amazing.
Waves not curls
What products being used my hair is so dry
Yes when you have " chubby" curls and waves its not easy lol.
Her hair looks so natural and healthy 😊. And the process you taught her seems easy, I mean doable, following the steps and products. Thank you, I can’t just go to the salon anytime-I am so excited to try your products and steps-I think that I cal do this 🥰
This was beautiful. I learned so much & I’ve been binge watching curly videos for months.
How do we know if conditioner needs wet hair or dry hair? I’ve been taught to squeeze hair out first
I just got my hair cut to the same length as hers as you can see in my picture but so far I blow dry it straight and use a curling iron because I don't know how to work with the curls this short. I had just figured out how to work with them when they were long but this is a whole other beast.
How often do you wash your hair and style it with the gel? How long will the curls last?
Don't use devacurl it ruins curly hair
as a curly haired latina ..... those arent curls. Those are waves.
Yeah the way she said the client has super curly hair underneath-no. The stylist did a great job don’t get me wrong but 1 you can have an oily scalp and waves or curls and 2 the client has straight to wavy hair that appears heat damage. And again I love this video overall Katrina is very talented
Should you do any curly products this way or just Deva Curl products?
i have a deva cut scheduled for next week but im worried about using devacurl products because of last year’s drama with their products causing balding😬
excellent instructional video! thank you!
Your curls are amazing
Recommendation for the metro Detroit area for a curly haircut hair stylist.similar to her hair but finer.
Is it possible to do the same trick for a straight hair?
How do you refresh it the next day?
Where can I find hairdressers that do curls, my hair is messed up
I went to research the product and the first thing to pop up was a class action lawsuit against devacurl 😳
I know Im asking randomly but does someone know a method to log back into an instagram account?? I was dumb forgot my account password. I appreciate any tricks you can give me
Try all about curls by Zotos. Similar effect no issues. Also it was the no poo product that was causing the issues.
The pay changed their products. They’re better now.
Who can actually do this at home?? Making a mess in my bathroom and spending 20-30 minutes before even styling/ twisting seems a bit much for me. Any suggestions for practical application in a non-salon setting?
Products used ?
Video has good content but the audio is lacking and it’s hard to hear the stylist to understand what she is saying. Good audio and enunciation is key to us wanting to subscribe.
Sorry, all i see is someone trying to sell a bunch of products.
DO NOT use that devacurl shit
Hi. Do you use deva curl? I’ve been seeing videos that this product ruins girls curls, making your curls die and frizz out, plus cause bald spots. Please research it. And try some app called, Think Dirty-Shop Clean.
Nice demonstration of how to gently take care of curly hair.
Amazing video. I just followed the steps to see if I can tame my winter-dry, frizzy hair. (Waiting for it to air dry now.) I just have 1 question. Do you rinse out the No Poo before you condition? The bottle says to rinse well, but I didn’t see that step in this video.
How often do you use the buildup buster?
Don't, there are lawsuits going on against this brand because people lost their curls
Stone the crows I could get all my house work done in the time this takes 😂
I like exactly curly hair like yours. My hair is really weird it is very hard to curl and yet i kinky every time I perm my hair ,Please tell me wha sort of lotion I should use and where can I buy them.
Better
WOW - how is there no one here talking about how Deva Curl causes hair loss???? There are so many online groups of women complaining of significant hair loss directly related to using these shoddy products. I'm not alone in having had to deal with this. Awful. Be warned.
I have curls frizz and oily hair... so yeah... I’m here saying my hair feels greasy...
Oh my gosh.... TOO MUCH PRODUCT in her hair!!!! I’d have to wash it out as soon as I got home. I have curly hair too but I found that if you have a stylist that really knows how to cut curly hair you can get by with using ONE styling product in it.
True, but remember that this product works with water and that it expands in water! Notice how I scrunched the water out, then towel blotted it out. By that time, most of the excess conditioner has been taken out with what the hair couldn't eat. Then I cap it off. I could've just left in her conditioner, however her hair was so dry that she needed that extra food to help her on her days.
So if everyone is interested, I was inspired by clients and stylists alike to start my own channel on natural curly hair! You guys can start subscribing to me under K-curly Guru. No funny business, but just real life curly situations geared for people who don’t have time for curly nonsense, or just is curious what I do for my natural curly beauties in the salon! Xox
