I'm Lance. My Chinese name is Blue Leftovers. If you're curious about China this channel is the place to be. No fake AI-generated images or schmaltzy blog info here. I promise I won't tell you that I have "wanderlust" or claim to have "discovered" anything. I've been in China for 9 years, learned the language, lived in 5 cities, and traveled to almost every province. I've also been lucky enough to meet my wife here, who just so happens to own a tour company. So, if you're planning a trip to China or just here to learn, we've got you.
SPOON-drawn snacks on the Tea Horse Trail - Chongqing's Nanshan DIST
Today we took a day trip across the Yangtze into Chongqing's "South Mountain District" to visit a few of this megacity's lesser-known attractions, including:
The Tea Horse Trail: The ancient paths where tea and horses once traded hands.
Laojun Cave: One of the oldest Taoist temples in China, a massive mountain complex dating back over 1,700 years.
Street Food Delight: No day out in China is complete without tasting the local delicacies. Today it's dumplings, street-side sweet potatoes, and sugary, hand-ladled zodiac animals
