Adak island is closer to Kamchatka, Russia, than to Anchorage, Alaska. Its famous spot of military history: huge US Army and Navy military base has been located here in 1942 - 1997. Now it’s abandoned. The population of the island reduced from 90-9 thousand to 40 souls.

What registration this AN 124 RUSLAN ? UR-820??
I’m not sure about this tail number, sorry. It should be UR820**. But I just posted another one movie with unique Antonov225 (6 engines) on the same hard stand in Anchorage. She had tail number UR82060. An225 has been destroyed by Russian troops in February 2022. This movie had been shot June 6th 2020.
