This is a wonderful Museum right out on the western coast of Wales. Lots of working engines and many other curios things to see. It seems to be run by a family of enthusiasts, so there are always well informed people to talk to and ask questions. I took a lot of pictures and some video clips myself (which I posted on Google Maps). One of many places that it's worth looking at one day if you're in that area.

Gosh, there were some rare engines at that rally. I loved the Whitehead and the cosmetically unrestored International, but there were so many that would be lovely to own. 👍

I think the thing that's most astonishing is, in 20 years, you go from these very large, and admittedly very very cool, large engines producing anywhere from single digits to 2-300hp ... to something the same size like an EMD 567 producing 2000hp in a locomotive.
