The last set of Triple crown trains id see just less than 4 days before the final one. This one is seen before and after Griggsville IL.

First few trains are at Fort Sumner New Mexico, After lunch i moved west toward Mountaineer in hopes of heavy Wb traffic. Never did get too lucky on the trip trying to find the westbound traffic in the evenings'.

Action in and around Clovis New Mexico in the morning hours. As the day progressed i made my way west toward Fort Sumner New Mexico. Never ending parade of stack trains along the old Santa Fe route.

An H3 Bnsf 70mac leads a coal train out of Old Monroe Mo. Rather rare to see these on the point now in 2024. 2nd train is a loaded coal drag as well seen near Elsberry Mo.

Trains in and around the Fort Madison Iowa area. Starting the day off around 730am in the Des Monies River, And finishing west of Fort Madison at 445pm we seen a total of 23 trains.

1st Ns 4436 leads a westbound rack extra into the siding. 2nd train westbound Ns 259 3rd train Ns 1055 leads train 30L 4th and final Ns 8101 leads train 219 east.

Sept 10 2024, I went out to shoo the Big Boy as it made the trip from Villa Grove to Saint Louis. Seen in a few spot's along the way.

June 29th 2024, Action along the Marceline was some of the best i have seen in recent years. I set out at La Plata Mo & worked my way east to Fort Madison Iowa.
