"Your need for finance!?" When you realize that you can only borrow up to a percentage of what YOU paid into the policy plus its pathetic earnings, minus the astronomical commissions and fees, you will also realize that you would have been far better off saving your money in investments or at least a high yield bank savings account. Yes, there may be taxes, but the money will be yours and available to you without having to borrow it back. Your savings will also break even on day one as opposed to year seven for many WL policies.
You have the same opinion I did when I first began studying life insurance. I asked the question "why the hell would I put money into life insurance when I can get a higher rate of return in an investment?" Unfortunately, most people dont think long range. They think like a tenant instead of a landlord. One is a customer, one is an owner. Your view isn't uncommon. But Id be curious to know if banks, who are the largest whole life insurance holders in the world (google BOLI), are getting sold by some insurance agent or if it really is a strong financial asset to park liquidity?
@nolansanburn-theinfiniteba4066 You use the BOLI salesman talking point to argue that, since banks buy BOLI contracts, then you should buy whole life insurance also. Banks buy BOLI contracts because they allow them to legally use them to pay for employee benefits with pretax dollars. Individuals get no such benefits and are NOT allowed to purchase BOLI contracts. You state that most people don't put money into low ROI life insurance because they don't think long range. Does a low rate of return turn into a high rate of return when you think long range? Having a life insurance policy does not make you an "owner" financially. It makes you the tenant because you are only able to borrow back a portion of what you've paid in. That cash value is no longer yours. It's like buying a house and then having to pay rent to live in it. WL is presented as great life insurance AND AND AND a great savings plan, but when you die you are left with ONLY ONLY ONLY the life insurance because the insurance company gets to keep the cash value. If you invest or save that money instead, now you are financially the owner of that fund because it is yours, and you can do with it as you like. You bought the house and you can live in it rent-free.

These buildings are vacant. So they don't think they have anything of value and also they don't know the intrinsic value of the building
@@nolansanburn-theinfiniteba4066 ?? A vacant building can definitely be valued using the income approach to value method called direct capitalization. Vacant buildings can be worth hundreds of millions of dollars!.
@@nolansanburn-theinfiniteba4066 Vacant buildings can be valued using cap rates. Cap rates value NOI. The start of calculating NOI is to calculate PGI, Potential gross incoe. The PGI on a vacant building is the same as a fully occupied building.
10 years to get your money back? Wouldn't it be best to simply buy a term life and invest the extra? $100k/year invested at just a 6% return, in 10 years you'd have over $1.5 million, with this policy, you'd only have $1 million in 10 years. Then, it'd take 17+ years to hit the $1.5 million you could hit in 10 years of investing at only a 6% return?
So, what's the average return on your cash portion of a whole life policy? 5%? 8%?
I have been hovering over this opportunity for a while. Can you talk to me more, about reliable companies to consider for doing business with? That is where I am hung up still. I am not sure what Insurance company is reliable and trustworthy, for life insurance, and works well with this type of structure.
Is it correct that the money for the premium can be a business expense as insurance for myself and a second policy for my son, as a key members of our LLC?
But the debt is backed up by some valuable asset.
