Albino Amberjack , extreme rare encounter
..saw this strange coloured fish in 25m depth. could not see what it is. when getting closer i noticed it was an 30pound albino amberjack hanging out in the current. the fish followed me half way to the surface and then turned back. first time i saw one of these albino amberjacks..

dove down on a pinnacle and a nice amberjack appeared. took a really bad shot but got the fish after a good fight

..spotted some nice cuberas on a shallow reef-patch. dove down on the sand in front of the reef without looking at them. two of them got curious and came in for the shot..

38 pound barracuda shot in medium current with rob allen 130. in this region it does not have ciguatera toxin in barracudas. here barracuda is one of the favourite fish to eat .

lots of things can attract a wahoo to come closer into shooting range. a wahoo tail cut in half and a rob allen 140 can do the job..

the dog-snapper is one of the best tasting snapper. the first shot in this video it was not so easy two approach the fish because it was blocked by a big school of bermuda-chubs. at the second shot i just tried to prevent the fish from running deep into the cave. all worked out fine..

diving amongst lots of feeding bigeye-tunas. looking after the very rare yellowfin-tuna in the mix. eventually spotted one and was able to put myself and the rob allen 140 tuna-gun in the right position. the fish turned out to be 120pounds. gear used : rob allen 140 tuna , neptonics 100ft bluewaterfloatline, 30liter spearmaster float

As always a great video from your channel!!! Thanks for sharing. I hope to draw on your vast experience: I have a Cape Verde coming up and hope to encounter some wahoos. Got a 130 Rob Allen Tuna for the task, and I'm leaning towards getting a floater (pathos D30) for it to reduce recoil and add some lift. I see you use the same gun - sometimes with and sometimes without a floater. Can you recommend one of these setups? Thanks!
for wahoos i use 140 rob allen with 7mm or 7.5mm shaft. with 7.5mm it helps to use a floater. but with a 130 its also possible to shoot wahoos. anyway if i go on such a spearo-vacation i carry at least 2 guns and 4 shafts. better 3 guns and 6 shafts. it does make things easy if all guns have same brand, size, set-up. guns and shafts can get damaged or lost. so it helps to have extra equipment..
