Kurashiki also known as another Venice of Japan, is a must visit place. It has a long history in the textile industry and has a preserve merchant quarter called the Bikan Historical District. We spend the day, evening and night exploring the area, buying some washi tape and enjoying the local delicacies, while staying at the serene Kurashiki Ivy Square.
