Heater Hose Leak Repair 1999-2013 Chevy Silverado/GMC Sierra
Instead of replacing the entire heater hose assembly I show you how you can save money by spending a little bit of time replacing cheap brittle plastic parts with aftermarket upgrades. Using the Dorman Coolant Junction Part #47157 you can save and reuse your original coolant and heater hoses and replace only the cracked or broken plastic Y-pipe, instead of wasting money and throwing away good hoses by buying the complete assembly. This repair kit should fit GM trucks and SUVs from 1999 to 2013 with 4.8, 5.3, 6.0 and 6.2 liter Vortec V8s on the GMT800 and GMT900 platform including the Chevy Silverado, Tahoe, Suburban and Avalanche, the GMC Sierra, Yukon and Yukon XL, the Cadillac Escalade and Escalade EXT, and even the Hummer H2.

2D Hand Drawn Animated Short
มุมมอง 6328 ปีที่แล้ว
So, this was the best, most enjoyable animation I've ever made so far. Once again the semester ended at ACC and animation finals time came around. So here's mine! The assignment: an acting exercise with a character. Unfortunately, I don't know how to act :/ Re upload because I uploaded the version without the background.
Basic Lift Animation
มุมมอง 58810 ปีที่แล้ว
Basic lift animation I did in my ACC Basic Animation course. All I had to do was make the character lift a heavy object in a way that demonstrated mass and weight. However, that wasn't good enough for me. I over did it by a whole lot this time. Lot's of fun for my last animation in the last day of class. It really was my masterpiece.
Flag Animation
มุมมอง 1.7K10 ปีที่แล้ว
A flag animation I made in my Basic Animation class at ACC. Wasn't supposed to put a logo on it because it would be, "difficult". So I did it anyway.
Flying Egg Animation

Flying egg animation from my ACC Basic Animation class. I over-did it. By a lot.
Daisy Powerline 15XT CO2 BB pistol leak repair Part 2
มุมมอง 54K13 ปีที่แล้ว
Part 2 of how I show you how to disassemble and reassemble a Daisy Powerline 15XT in order to fix or replace any of its mechanisms. I mainly show how i fixed a leak that i had happen to me twice. Its a great gun, I'm just very unlucky, and against its warning I left it loaded with a full tank and didnt remove it so it caused a leak. By the way, i did fix my problem and it does work!

    sweet diy repair! nice use of fast forward instead of magic jump cuts and also getting the right angles. if ya ever do the 2x heater hose quick disconnect lines, i've only seen one person replace it with the metal dorman upgrade, and would like to see how you'd go about the process. cheers!

    • @TH3C001

      It should, as they share the same engine and should have similar hose setups, but I don't know for sure since SUVs like the Tahoe and Suburban might have rear heat and that might make a difference. Since this piece comes off of the water pump I think it should be the same.

    With loosing coolant do you have to add coolant & bleed the system after?

    • @TH3C001
      @TH3C001 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You will have to add some coolant, at least up to the full when cold line on the reservoir, then start the engine and let the coolant circulate and bleed any air out and add more while the engine is running until it reaches the full when cold mark once again.

    I have one of these pistols. I like it but it does have an air leak. At the moment it doesn't for some reason and I surmised that this pistol is fitted for certain CO2 cartridges. It's a very complicated gun and I don't like springs popping out everywhere been there done that with carburetors LOL so it looks like if I get into that cylinder and put that plumbing tape on that should stop the leak.

    Thought this was how to fix leaking CO2. Not how to take your gun apart and put it back together. Good God. BTW. I think you left your bathtub running

    • @TH3C001

      If you know how to take it apart and put it back together you know where or how to find the leak. I repaired my leak. These videos worked great for everyone else to repair their leaks. Glad you enjoyed the sound of my aquarium.

    I stupidly left a CO2 capsule in my 15XT and it naturally destroyed the seals so it leaked whenever I put in a new capsule. I followed your instructions and took it apart, wrapped some Teflon around the threads on the cap of the large cylindrical part. I put it back together following Part 2 of your video. No parts were left over. Now, it no longer leaks, but it won't fire because I can't make the trigger move back. Any suggestions?

    The so-called weight thing is a counterweight. A necessary item needed for balance of the BB gun pistol. Everything in a BB gun is very important and necessary for operating it properly.

    • @TH3C001
      @TH3C001 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That sounds like the piece that feeds the BBs down the tube, it pushes the BBs loaded in the top of the pistol toward the receiver, there should be a long spring behind it so it can force the BBs along.

    I was going through some stuff while cleaning and found this Powerline 15XT from at least 10 years ago and I tried to shoot it but it was leaking the gas, and I was going to dump it when I found this video and said “why not try to fix it” and after 1+ hrs…. I was shooting again in my backyard. Thanks for uploading this video

    32yrs ago I used this video to fix my grandson's gun. This time he was going to fix it himself, which he promptly abandoned when he got it opened. He & I used your video to put it back together and now you're the big hero, good job! Tip for others who are trying to fix a 15xt, use the thread tape it's the only thing that works long term and good luck! Thanks again!

    I have the same model , mine leaks the tank off really quick at the pierce point when installing the new tank , do you know what the problem is. I cleaned the piercing area and used three new tanks trying. No luck so far.

    • @TH3C001
      @TH3C001 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Its been many many years since I ever used or messed with this particular air pistol, however I remember there is a transparent rubber gasket that sits up in there, around the piercing and is supposed to seal at the top of the cartridge. I would guess yours is missing or damaged due to age or use. I honestly wouldn't know how to repair that, however if I had to I'd probably try using an RTV silicone from an auto parts store and try dabbing some in with a tooth pick to recreate that gasket or buy some cork gasket material (also available at auto parts stores) and drill out a tiny hole for the piercing point and try to cut it to fit up in there. Hope this helps.

    You should re-do this vid with better camera focus and better lighting and try to use the correct part names and show every step correctly. For example I got the safety in backwards because I couldn't see what you were doing and you zipped right through it. It is possible to get some of these parts in backwards or reversed if you've never done this before. Otherwise, thanks.

    I know I am way late but by any chance do you know what size the O ring is for the co2 compartment? My O ring came out when a cartridge got stuck and now as soon as I put a new cartridge in, it punctures the top and then just leaks til it's empty. ALL I need is a new O ring but can't get to it to measure it lol

      Hi George... I just used this video for the 2nd time in 2 years to fix my Daisy Air Gun. As TH3 explains in the video, it is about correcting for the CO2 escaping from the top back end. If your leak is at the puncture pin assembly, there is a small seal there that may need to be replaced. Think you can order it from Daisy for something like 50 cents.
