They may be living in an Islamic regime, they are apparently relaxed with their shawls, unlike many Malay women who subscribe to the dogma that revealing even a strand of hair is haram. This example of extreme attitudes in Islam would reduce if the Malay women would open their eyes n heart to the beauty of moderation n not allow subjugation to misogynistic interpretation of the religion to infringe upon personal moral codes.
