The Bible says that God is the same yesterday today and forever so if he's the same then all of his prophecy in all of his word is the same forever for, for all time
This is why scripture alone is so important. It is the very tool to test everything. I'm not a cessationist, nor do I ascribe to spiritual gifts being as prevalent as they were. I do believe God is about to pour His Spirit out and we will see moves of the Holy Spirit not seen in centuries or ever. Much love brother Jesus Christ is King
Thank you, Amen I agree, there is a lot that isn't the real deal, but I believe as well that it is out there, just maybe too few and far between sadly!
I like attending churches comprised of like minded believers, we pray for healing in tounges, some prophecy, some heal, some teach or preach, always guided by Holy Spirit and referencing the Word, when we pray for enlightenment or revelation, clarity lends answers…..
Ok, this is a really good opportunity to share here what Jesus said in Matthew 5:17-20. Jesus said here in this verse, he did not come to destroy the Law and the Prophets (the old testament), but to fulfil. He fulfilled it by doing three things specifically: 1. He was a spotless lamb, meaning he did all that the law commanded, he never sinned. 2. He died as a sacrificial offering, making a covenant through his blood. 3. He fulfilled all that the prophets prophesied concerning the coming messiah. So the Old Testament stands complete and fulfilled in the New Testament. We become righteous through Christ righteousness thus making us more righteous then what we can ever hope to be in our own ability under the law. Salvation through Christ is by grace thru faith in his blood. Romans 3:25. We are taught by his grace to live godly. Titus 2:11-12. But, if we sin, we confess our sins, and he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us of all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 God bless you, and thank you for commenting!😃 I hope this helps a little on your journey my friend!
