Doesn't get much better than this, Elliott truly was an artist, both in a lyrical and musical way. I find so much harmony in the syntax of his playing and singing. Wonderful to see a live recording with better quality than expected.
+Damien Gibson yes, but lyrics should not be taken literally. Elliott may had been familiar with overdosing drugs at this time of his life, but it is not my place to say so (and I'm pretty certain he wasn't). However, St. Ides Heaven was on his self titled album in 1995, and he definitely was not overdosing or doing any kinds of drugs back then. In fact, it was common for him to write songs about other people's lives or situations, not his own. He had said that himself. Actually, he was more known for doing heroin, not overdosing medications. And I do think he appears clean here. It is a wonderful concert :)
i loved them too. people are good at stuff for 10 years. then they get shite. billy corgan is human, he's not god. that's why his music is now so appallingly dire, including this song. i'd still make love to you billy. i'm a man

Maybe not one his best guitars cause, all the other guitars sound great he played
@@YamnayaSintash you must be gen z….😅 but then again i don’t think you’re really criticizing elliott per se but yeah 😊

i love his work
We lost a real Genious what a loss for all of us for the world
He’s in E standard tuning here. He usually plays it down a step. Sounds awesome either way.

He's definitely high on amphetamines here
That comment is really unnecessary. It appears to me that he's completely clean at this concert and seems to be in a good mood too.

+Delilah Smith He said that he's definitely a dependant, but the S/T isn't like a diary or anything like that, in that animated interview
They actually found amphetamines in his system at his time of death. He was a pretty frequent user of stimulants.
wow you're wrong.
Irving Plaza, probably 2000-05-17.
