Digitone 2 - Transient Drum Kit
มุมมอง 79014 วันที่ผ่านมา
Transient Drum Kit ! Use Key Tracking to map the 62 transients samples. There is 1 different transient every 2 increments, so Key Tracking Depth is 16 to map them all (instead of Depth 8). Depth 64 in order to have kicks, snares and hihats with 16 trigs without transpose keyboard. Use Transient to shift kits.

It really does open up a whole new world for Koala heads 👍
that looks fun 🙂
I made a nice acid patch by complete accident and it's actually competing a little with my donner b1 analog bass synth for acid! Surprised tbh because that donner unit is way better than it's price tag suggests
I can't see or hear it... What's the difference between this and the inverted NEI condition?
Inverted NEI works for only 1 track, and parent track has to be plocked with % trig conditions if you want to mimic choke group. With this technique you can use 16 tracks and use probability + control all. So there are differences.
I want the coloured buttons! Can u find them separately somewhere?
You can ask Elektron.
Interesting how you took your old DN buttons and put it on the new one lol.
Very cool idea
Digitone ii with color button? 😮
Nice sounds and playing, also dig the button swaps haha made me double take. Should have taken the old mouth voice button from dn1
Yes if a DN1 user want to exchange with my Voice button cap, maybe they’d get more voices ? ;)
Confounded.
?
Something you don’t understand ? Only 3 parameters to change.
Nice mod 😉 had me confused for a minute. Nice sounds too!
Chapeaux !
Sounds impressive. Can you make music with it too?
beautiful demo. are you using latched arps or a built in sequencer?
@@fumarolas I played a midi file from an MPC500, at around 0’35".
i feel that i have been transported to national symphony in 19th century Russia
Sounds great
OMG how could you manage to do that.. 🫣
MPC 500 is playing a midi file to control notes from 0’35”…
@@wiliwowmusic1625 aaah very good idea !! 🙌🏻
This sounds so unreal for an Elektron device ... :D ... good job!
@tomnussbaumer I need you on Elektronauts ! Maths...
Tchaikovsky on the Digitone!!
Oh finished already?! I was enjoying it!
Already ? What took me a lot of time was to fund a way to play a midi file via USB. No luck I ended with my trusty MPC 500 and midi DIN !
At the one minute mark you gave the world the middle finger! I caught that.
@@tColorsinspacerecordings ✌️
Ohhhh I’m guessing default comb tuning settings on 9-16 then one shot tracks with p-locks on the comb tune on 1-8?
Exactly ! ;)
@@wiliwowmusic1625sneaky sneaky 😈
Wait what trig mode are you using, tracks? I’m confused lol
Default track mode ! See description. ;)
Thanks. No arp but a sequence from Digitone, notes changing noise and filters for snares and hihats. I wouldn’t be able to give more details for now. I had Tetra and Blofeld, no regrets.
Great demo of this little beast! I wonder how you organized the sounds, so the sequence of them... Were you using two patches, one for the synth and another for the drums, and also different midi channels, and sequwnced externally, or were you only uusing the internal arpegiator as a sequencer for all? I dont know why but when looking at this synth I feel like it could be the son or daughter that a Tetra and a Blofeld may have had... Thanks for sharing :)
I see you got a new toy .... :) ... I'm still struggling to decide between a Digitakt II and a Digitone II ... and then there is the "not enough time" factor, too .... :D
Hi Tom ! Both of course. DN2 for sound design…
Love the arp visualisation. Thanks fro showing this. Is it also possible to mute steps in the arp? That way you can actually use it as a sequencer with a nice visual.
Yes, possible to mute steps in the arp offset zone. Waiting for Random mode !
Superbe, j'aurais pu écouter encore pendant 10 minutes. Le ARP me fais penser à l'Octa mais en plus fou. C'est possible de faire ça sur une piste midi? Pour rendre fou mes synthés😄
Et non pas midi ! L’arp de l’Octatrack est mieux.
i dont undertand
What don’t you understand? The principal tip is to change notes order with microtiming knob….
@@wiliwowmusic1625 Ok but are they random? Thats the part where i got lost sorry
@@santobosco5008It looks like no. It looks like they are scrambled once. And then they are replayed over and over in that same order. However, there appears to be 2 overlapping tone shifts, where the arpeggiator is also adjusting the tone values plus or minus, at a note count that is different from the total note length count, so it overlaps and then shifts it differently at a different overlap point. So it's kind of like a sieve. And feels random.
No random mode. Random entry. Feature request !
@@santobosco5008 In the tittle : change notes order randomly. Option : close your eyes !
best synth🤙😍🤪
lovely one man
I continue to learn from you - i gotta try this with cue and maybe midi loopback to control cue vol with LFOs... or something something
My former MKI…
are those effects internal?
Yes, direct USB recording with iPhone. Slight lfo on delay time, lfo on its pan. Long decay reverb with hipass, not much hi shelve...
Yes. USB recording to iPhone. Lfo on delay time.
@ wow that’s super impressive. Didn’t knew syntakt this much of a deep fx engine. Also big hats off to you too. It’s your magic that makes syntakt sing like that.
Sounds great
wow... youtube recommended me a video called "ambient machine syntakt" (2 years old) ... I never felt that. But with this new machine it's now become true!
Nice track 😊
it's beautiful how the offset make the sound like there's an actual shimmer reverb on top, good work !
how do you like the new sid machine?
@@microfx very much i thought I will not use it because I’m not a chiptune guy but you can do a broad palette of sounds , the bd natural and sd are very good also to get some tr 707 flavor.
I am not a chiptune fan too, but SY CHIP is very versatile…
that's beautiful. But what happened to your PLAY button?
@@herrdub I put the sequencer in reverse mode. :)
@@wiliwowmusic1625 What ?
It should play reversed with reversed button. But it plays forward. So it is reversed compared with what it it should do.😅
whenever i try this it doesn't seem to work. does it only work with specific drum samples? or is it's a specific tempo??
I tell ya, i wasnt too impressed with my Syntakt until they brought over the Sy Chip. But playing with the SyChip is just...mmmm delicious. Good sounds as always, my dude -- Ryan
will try later
I primarily have used my Micromonsta 2 as a Reese/Neurobass and distorted pad machine , but watching you program and perform this drone is definitely inspiring me to step out of my comfort zone with programming it. Excellent work! There is SO much to explore with this thing !
Cette ambiance est folle ca sonne de ouf, vivement que je le reçoit pour lui présenter des copains :)
Also is this a preset pad or a customer pad? Sounds great!
