Actually watched it in a theatre. It's pretty creative and fun. The music is very 1980s Jerry Goldsmith and the characters are memorable. It's a story of friendship and cooperation vs individualistic narcissism - and it works perfectly in that setting (especially with the temptation for some characters to just bail and enjoy freedom from the zoo vs staying and helping others). The animation is surprisingly good and I totally dig the style. The gummy zombies are very cute PG-13 monsters ranging in their shapes from just slightly gooier versions of the infected animals - to outright surreal forms some of which are hinted on in the trailer If there's one thing I dislike - it's a very abrupt argument between two key characters that just happens seemingley out of nowhere. I dig it's importance, but it could be handeled better. Everything else is good. Basically "Madagascar" meets "ParaNorman".
