Hello. I've recently acquired this turntable fairly cheap and I've been testing it. The autoreturn works, but it scratches over the record in the process. Do you know what could be the issue? I was thinking that perhaps the counterweight wasn't placed correctly, what do you say?

For the record, I loved my F3s so much that I originally bought 4 of them. I took back the F2s in disappointment and bought the F3s and loved them. I had to sell during a move and tried to fix my mistake buying the F38s and should have at least fought the F28s. The F3 is an impressive 2 1/2 way little tower for the buck. The F30 isn’t the same either. I think it’s the soft dome tweeters in the original F series that make them better than the brightness of the later titanium dome ones.

I used one of those for a while. Great speaker. I replaced it with an il36c when i changed the front towers from il30 to il60.

I connected it with my pioneer SX-205RDS and now the cd play over my JBL TLX8/4. If you plan to put it on a reciver put the volum down on the reciver and up on the cd player. this will prevent static noise.
