If only the Samia elites could help nurture these talents while also preserving our rich cultural values. Indeed little is now known of such reknown adungu greats like Danger wa nakhatuba, ojiambo machunia, Musana, Tabu Mejja among others. The great men who propelled our culture to another level. Their songs and music carry heavy feelings about Samia funeral rites and social values that went along way to hold the community together. It's sad that since 2014 little to nothing has been heard of these very talented cultural artists. Something must be done, Samia elites wake up from your slumber and if you think you are safe in your comforts then wait until your grand children will show up home with some funny practices. Just then will you realize that modernization should not come at the expense of important cultural heritage.
