A General Purpose Flux Workflow For ComfyUI
This video explains how I have been using Flux so far. Flux is the best model we have so far but it can be hard to get the images you want. For random TXT 2 IMG it's great but guiding it to a specific goal can be tricky.

Prompt Words in Flux Using ComfyUI
มุมมอง 1K14 วันที่ผ่านมา
I did this series as a test to discover how Flux reacted to descriptive words. Not really scientific but it gives a few clues as to Flux's strengths and weaknesses. IE Strong on people, quite good at backgrounds, terrible at artstyles in general. I decided it was not worth posting a Workflow as it is basic cut down Flux with no add ons. Here is the one did for SDXL: th-cam.com/video/qP0cCuGHOSA...

A Brief Outline of Ways to Improve Composition and Colour in ComfyUI

More of an art theory video than a Comfy one but I hope some Comfy users will find it useful. It only scrapes the surface of a very large subject! As I stress there are no rules and one of the best ways of learning is to look at images you like and try to work out "why" you like them.

      At present you will always write a better prompt with your eyes and brain. I can see the use for Florence when many images need doing, but not really otherwise. I suspect that some of the issues Flux has are due to poor LLM captioning.

    Hi there, and thanks for all the awesome content! I'm super grateful for all the knowledge you're sharing and I love your generations, they are impressive! Do you have a civitai account? Or a place you post your final images? And 2nd, since you use rgthree nodes (you may already know this - sorry!) a tiny QOL improvement for group mute/bypass toggles: 1. go to setting 2. click on 'rgthree', then click on 'rgthree-comfy settings' 3. scroll down & enable 'Show fast toggles in group header' with 'mute and bypass' & 'always' (also has option for only mute or bypass) 4. enjoy one click bypass for groups (at least at group header level, situational I guess, but I liked to sometimes get away with just one click - I know there's also the fast groups node - I feel this completes the set of options available for muting/bypassing)

    I've noticed that Flux can be stubborn with image to image too. It doesn't like to change things a lot, which might be good for photographic resampling/upscaling where you want details preserved as much as possible, but it's bad for creative resampling/upscaling. Has anyone been able, for example, to transform a cartoon image/painting into a photo or vice versa? I've not been able to do this with Flux so far. It's a lot easier with SDXL and SD 1.5.

    • @thibaudherbert3144

      I have the exact same problem. I Stable diffusion the denoising is easy to manage and you can slowly increase changes on an existing image. Here on flux i can't find ways to change the style of an image using img2img, it's weird

    • @robadams2451
      @robadams2451 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

    Hmm, looks like at least right now Flux is mostly good for pretty women and food. Latent vision was saying it did better with more verbose sentences rather than keywords. Like it was trained on generated image descriptions.

    • @robadams2451
      @robadams2451 19 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Not exactly verbose, if you put a novel in it will ignore it. But you can use more complex sentences so it understands the way words are connected. So if you say "blue dress" it won't make the rest of the image blue. You get better results than SDXL with a prose prompt but it still produces a better image IMHO with a more structures prompt. Despite it's oddities Flux is a fantastic model. I think a lot of the captions were LLM generated which might explain the boring houses, I hate LLM captions they are mostly garbage, but human captioning would be impossible.

    Hello, I do everything as in your video, but I get very grainy fragments of images if I divide the CLIP into zones, neither changing the resolution nor increasing the resolution helps me. If I make a canvas for 2-3 CLIP zones, then these zones are grainy and of low quality. I would send you a picture, but I can't leave a link here... I found a solution to this problem, it is to connect a whole CLIP that will cover the entire canvas, but I think this is wrong, it distorts what is desired, but the elements do not lose quality. Can you answer me here, please?

    • @robadams2451
      @robadams2451 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Quality is often to do with the prompt. If the sampler can't find a solution to making your noise image into a picture then you get poor quality graint images. I would test each prompt separately to see where any problems might lie. Adding several prompts does of course mean issues are more likely to occur. It does work to add another prompt covering the whole area but you need to set the timestep range to stop it being too dominant.

      I don't see why not, or as well as. Though you have to be a little careful as not only style is transferred. Even when set to style the Adapter will transfer some content as well. So if you chose a Pixar style character to do a portrait it would work fine, but if you chose a Pixar style car as an Adapter image it wouldn't. If you pick the right image then it works great. Also you can save the Adapter Embeds and reuse them or mix them together.
