    Correct me if i am wrong SVD is used to charactarize the channel , the orthogonal vectors we find while decomposing Channel Matrix into u sigma v* if we precode the transmit vector with orthogonal matrix v then according to channel condition at that time we will get another set of orthogonal vectors scaled by diaganol matrix sigma since the recive vectors are othogonal we have created paralla MIMO channels ... i dont see any beamforming happening with SVD

      more over Beam forming needs phase changes in signals sent to antenna elements and all the elements should have same copies of the signals to to be directed to a particular direction. ( That can be achived via precoding .. why SVD precoding is mixed with Beamforming precoding )

    Good video. Actually in my previous two work places - in one company i was working in WiFi6 and other company i worked in 4G. In both places they were dealing with this LOFT( local oscillator feed through) problem- i think that is the official name of LO leakage. I always wondered why people are not talking about LOFT in 5G. Now it is clear. Thanks !

    Hello, thank you for your nice explanation! I just want to raise a concern here. Shouldn't the received signal equation be like this? ( y1=h11.x1 + h21.x1 and y2=h12.x1 + h22.x1) I think y1 receives from h21 channel rather than h12 channel.

    instead of prb, i guess you wanted to say subcarriers here. 12 subcarriers and 14 symbols is what makes a prb. Also a symbol is not made of prbs, but of resource elements

    Hello Sir, Why serial to parallel converter is needed before IDFT? Why are we not sending it serially for IDFT operation as again we are converting parallel IDFT outputs to serial only using S/P. Complete Serial operation will not work?

      gNodeB considers the detection is fake if the SNR estimated for that UE is very poor (below certain threshold).

      Thanks a lot for this very good question. Ideally, it should be impulse with zero width (as per theory). But, in practical systems, there is always some small width to the impulse signal which depends on the design and characteristics of the hardware components.
