The music is really good too. If you are wanting to try more top-down Zelda games I heartly recommend "Link's Awakening" and "A Link Between Worlds". And now I need to rewatch The Count of Monte Cristo, haha. 😂

Hey, Skyward Sword HD is back! I basically played this game on hard mode because of joycon drift. Whether the sword would swing how I wanted it to or not was always a gamble, haha. I hate to say, it is my least favorite 3D Zelda game. I don't think it's bad, just wasn't as fun and engrossing for me as other Zelda games. It does have a great soundtrack and Groose. :)

I think Tri is supposed to be a Kodama, a Japanese tree spirit. I had my suspicions when I first saw it, but as soon as I saw the fast travel way point I knew that's what he was inspired by. Pikmin 4 has Glow Pikmin that have similar designs and they have little hives that look exactly like those little Fast travel spires. The whole smoothy thing kinda reminds me of Pikmin as well. Not so much BotW/TotK lol

I'm officially excited for this game! I will admit, when they did the first reveal trailer, I was a little bit...nonplussed? Disappointed? Underwhelmed(?) that they were using the exact same art style and assets from the Link's Awakening remake. Not that there's anything wrong with a video game company re-using stuff they already made to make a new game. (I mean....Tears of the Kingdom....LOL) But I was just worried they were going to recycle most of an old game to make a new game on the cheap! But having watched this trailer, I now believe that's not what they're doing at all! I actually love what I'm seeing here. You're not playing as Link, you're playing as Zelda, and she has her own distinctly different and unique style of gameplay! She doesn't just hack and slash everything with a sword, she uses her magic abilities and her wits to come up with creative solutions to problems! And I don't believe that makes her weak compared to Link, I think that makes her smart, and resourceful! And I think that her way of solving problems might be far more satisfying because of that! I wonder where those purple rifts are going to go? So many Zelda games have a "dark world" mechanic, I wonder if there will be a whole other world other than Hyrule for Zelda to explore? I think that's a good bet! This game is exciting because it's the first wholly original 2D Zelda game to come out since "A Link Between Worlds", which was in 2013! (By the way, that's my current favorite 2D Zelda game, it was on the Nintendo 3DS, which not a lot of people have anymore. I've probably played through it over ten times, if you ever get the chance, you should absolutely play it, it's amazing!!) Also, it's about damned time Zelda got her own proper game in the series that is LITERALLY named after her!!! Those shitty CDi games from the 90's don't count!! (Although I admire them for at least trying to do something different, even if they screwed up everything else.) So yeah, this game looks awesome! Let's fucking go! It's time for Zelda to kick some ass and be the hero of her own story!!! 💗

at 6:29 the triangles are tokens you spend on echoes, some of the summons have one or more, its likely tri gets more as you progress letting you use more echoes at once or more powerful ones like hopefully bosses.

Pre-ordered day-one as I'm personally very excited having grew up with and loved top-down Zelda games. Zelda ALTTP along with Super Metroid on SNES are both No 1 spot in my all-time fav games ever made. I also adored the recent remake of Zelda Link's Awakening (new arranged soundtrack is simply incredible) and I'm glad they have kept the same style :-)

I hope this opens the door to have more playable zelda games in more adult styles like twilight princess, botw, and totk

So I never wanted to play this Zelda game. I've just heard it's not that great. I actually have never been a huge fan of the 3D Zelda's except for Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. I honestly didn't even know you were doing this series. But I really like you, so I will watch this series! 🥰

The setup is amazing. Lightning is full of light (no pun lol), scenario arrangement is perfect, your shirt pops up your eyes/smile, you nailed the picture in picture!

Yes! For what it's worth, I also liked the love action ATLA for what it was. The casting was for sure (mostly) pretty good, and some fights and choreography were really top notch. Storytelling in the animated series was still better, but I enjoyed it and look forward to season 2.

The Algorithm introduced me to you. Such a delightful playthrough! Love watching others discover these games in their own way, and you're hilarious and a total gamer! Looking forward to more.

Now imagine how terrifying the sacred realms were to an 8 year old me first playing through this game😅 the stress still echos in my mind to this day
