This video was so helpful. I couldn't figure out why my pro tools wouldn't write automation like I had seen on other tutorials. I was because I didn't have Allow Latch Prime in stop. Thank you for mentioning that one.

Why didn't you just insert a multi-mono low-pass filter on the FX bus and make it affect only the LFE channel ? :)
Because you can affect all the process meanwhile with the bus you can touch just the signal from de channel LFE
