My mother died at 80, but for many, many years prior she would tell her 3 daughters, “never build your life around a man, they will have you sick and homeless “. My father gave my mom years of grief. He wore her out with his rebelliousness, narcissism, selfishness, addictions ( gambling) and hot temperedness. He almost got mom my killed twice, while we were very young children. She left him twice but he went after her both times. She was never able to separate from him. She transitioned into Alzheimer’s 7 years before her death in 2022. My father took care of her til the end, never putting her in a nursing homes. They were married 61 years.

I just broke up with my girl or she broke up with me I’m not really sure who did that part. She’s a Christian woman and I’m a Christian man but we weren’t good for each other. I prayed for her as much as possible but she was convinced she was a prophet and apart of a small but growing charismatic church. Her pastor was a female prophet and told us she saw holy matrimony in our future. She fell for it and I questioned why God would impose on my free will. It was hard getting a word in edge wise as well so trying to voice my concern was tough. I pray for her but I’m glad we split up. Excited about things to come. Amen ?

That's true in the sense that God lives within you. YOU must find your own fulfillment (happiness). Not your spouse and not your children. You'll have a happier marriage if you don't think that your spouse is the one that is supposed to fulfill you (make you happy). That's an individual's responsibility.

I did it subconsciously and I realized i love God but focused more on my success as husband and a dad then a falower of and sun of GOD
