sounds amazing, great project
4:22 do i hear a little roygbiv?
Damn, I've just realized you're Rytone! Love your SIDs, man! 🤘 Subbed! ❤
I appreciate it! Sorry I haven't been active in forever... things are cooking, but too many projects to bounce between :/
SCHEMATICS !!????? ♥ PLEASE !
This is great! I was wondering is there a "good" quality breadboard for doing stuff like this? I have a few cheapo breadboards that look like this, but after i've prototyped a few things i notice the wires don't make a good connection on some spots after they've been punched in a few times.
Cool! :) Could I have a schematic please?

Exceptional fat analogue!
Cool design and awesome effort!! I've been building synths since the 80's starting with ElectroNotes publications from Ithaca, NY. I'd given up on breadboarding on more than one occasion. Invariably after moderate use, my connections would get funky and tracking down issues seemed to take over all my time. These days I use PCBs with soldered thin copper w/ nylon sleeving for workups and once I have something viable, I create a circuit board and send the gerber files off to Asia where they give you 5 PCB's for ~ 30$.
Oh it has PWM? *Happy Nick Batt noises*
Bro build a moog on a breadboard. This sounds PHAT
4:17
really sick stuff
Super cool!
Can it even Vocode in 2024, bruv? Didn't think so! GJ!
Love this! What’s a rough price for the parts?
Schematic pls ❤
this is a great build, you got some really cool sounds from this project! thanks for sharing, i really wanna build something similar too
Yes
This is fucking awesome
wild stuff!!!
Amazing ❤
Omg
Spectacular! For some reason I thought Arise had retired from the scene, very happy to see them still active
Not dead yet! Still alive and still human ;-)
DUDE!! THAT build seems to be really holding up to your playing and wear, since my breadboards usually would produce some undesirable static from general wear or short-outs in the wiring. And your wiring btw is really nice and pretty, no bare copper and no huge lengths of slack. Your own diy monosynth - just with the modules that you’ve decided upon - that gives the synth an overall sound that’s all to itself. Very lovely with that Polivokc filter. The whole thing just really is your own unique innovation! Really inspiring work that you’ve done!! I’d love to read the code for the MIDI module! So cool!! Edit I’ve found Rene Schmitz’s Midi/CV!!
that bass at the start of the demo made me moist.
super 🖐️💪
WoW! I don't understand how this is done. It really is a piece of C64 software?
Wonderful!
Imagine a time machine, taking this demo back to 1983, and show it off to the local computer club members, people would go absolutely bonkers.
Probably be like "why does the music sound like jank" ahaha.
This is just amazing.
Sounds fat 😊
WOW
Einfach unfassbar gut ❤
Hot dang! This is one lovely mix of amazing visuals and amazing tunes and rhythms and programming skills. Evidently it's a dish served very very hot! 🔥+❤=❤🔥
love this project, it sounds very nice and the bonus is that it does not use a development board as its heart.
Incredible.
By golly... Tremendous demo.
Wow, what a soundtrack! Very cool effects on this one. Thanks for getting a good recording.
Have no idea what this thing is. But it looks so cool. Wish i could understand this kind of crazy combo of wires
As he says and the title says, its a Synthesizer.
@@tristen_grant Well… yeah.
it's actually easy to understand, just binge watch these types of videos because thats what i did
Brings modular synth to a whole new level! This is actually super cool, and if you're familiar with the components and could mix and match stuff it could be loads of fun to play with
How is this at all similar to a modular synth?
@@tristen_grantbecause he is combining different elements from different synths, VCO, Filter, ADSR, etc. that’s what you do with modular, just instead of a euro rack it’s all mashed together on a breadboard.
Udaya🔋🔋💡💡👍👍
Like this.
Like this a lot.
very cool!
you're a true gem in the content creation community!
analog synth?
Yes.
Yeah I want to build this like tonight, add that 32 step sequencer ohh baby
MOS not MOSS. It stands for Metal Oxide Semiconductor. It's very prone to damage from ESD -- Electro Static Discharge (static). Handle with care!
Bro this is beautiful, im new in electronic world, definetly i will try to build some like that
