If you didnt reenacted 911 on this as a kid, i feel sorry for you. We even switched to the right plane mid flight to make in more authentic/funny, because getting the actual plane to take of was way to hard at the time.

I played this game when I was a kid. 20 years later, I got my private pilot licence. All thanks to this game.

I have FS 2002 Professional Edition, which I purchased in 2002. I have a feeling that it Upgraded to 2004 but I'm not sure. It was installed on my old Laptop, which hasn't been working for several years. I now have an ASUS TUF GAMING A15 (Laptop): However, it doesn't have a CD or DVD Drive. Has anyone tried Installing It on an External CD/DVD Drive, and Running It from that ... .. Or would I be better off doing that, and Transferring it to a Memory Stick / Flash Drive ? ps .. Heh, @MicrosoftANZ, Removing CD/DVD Drives from Laptops was an DUMB IDEA !!!

we need this in flight sim 2020. 9/11 was over 20 years ago. Time to move on, and allow real crash physics in the sims again.

MSFS was an amazing game for those who are into it. I remember the virtual cockpit view was a big deal...The Bell 206 was impossible to fly with a keyboard and realism settings to normal/high. Getting a joystick was one of the happiest moments of childhood. FS98 and the EXTRA 300S with a joystick was amazing. I used to copy planes from MS Combat FS2 into FS 2002, they were compatible. I loved flying the warbirds from Meigs Field....also used to create my own custom instrument panels, and put gauges from the jets & King Air into the Cessna 172 panel, it was cool. Flight Sim X was hard to get running well.....my 2010 era Phenom II, 8GB DDR2, GTX 560 runs it at mid settings like 15FPS. Not fun. Takes forever to load. Next PC I build I'm gonna play FSX and see how it's aged
