Have to endure a litany of price-increasing features nobody really cares about before finally getting to the bottom line - once again, the "entry level" motor is just so-so, and the almost inspiring dual motor will jack the price up $1,000. Same game both Hyundai and Kia have been pulling ever since they made the mistake of sending the Kona EV out the door with a half-way decent 201/291 single motor front drive. Didn't take 'em long to render that motor gutless in their various single-motor entry level offerings! The helluvit is, to get more power from the motor all they simply need do is increase voltage and spin it faster with appropriate gearing....motors aren't like gas engines in any way. The latest scam is "boost mode" where a special switch gives you a modest jump in power for a few moments. Meanwhile, even Tesla's weakest single motor offering is a 5 second 0-60 car. This is why Volvo's EX30 is going to outsell all this crap - just as cheap and even the entry level motor is almost 270/300 for 0-60 in just a hair over 5 seconds.

You will be able to buy a trailer to pull behind the Cyber truck to extend it's range. This tells us three things. 1 the battery is too small to began with. 2 Range is a problem. 3 the batteries in the trailer will make it very expensive. By the way if you want to pull a boat can you pull that too? Why don't you just put a generator in the tiny little bed? Wait I think I just invented a hybrid vehicle. More utility than a truck? It has no frame to mount a plow on. Tows less than a light duty ICE truck. Has laughable range, especially when towing. Has side sails preventing people from reaching into the bed. Needs to fill most of the bed to carry a spare. Performed poorly the one time we saw it offroad. What exactly does it do better than other trucks, except drag race?

If we had more cheap electricity EVs would be a valid alternative BUT they are too expensive and disposable when the batteries need to be replaced.

I don't know any other EV brand that can excite many people at this time. Taycan, Benz, Audi, Ford, and GM are the same model shape as ICEV model counterparts, and Tesla is not beautiful to look at.
